Stayed here for 2 nights for a trip to Longleat (about 15 mins away). Sat nav will take you to a field so just keep your eyes open when you get close! It's v close to the pub and has a driveway to park in. Lovely welcome upon arrival from hosts and cat. ||Breakfast until 9.30 - great fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, homemade jams and cooked breakfast with tea/coffee. ||Room - v comfy bed, decent shower, soft towels, mini fridge with milk and water, tea/coffee/hot choc, view out on to the garden, good TV choices. Only thing I would change is a USB socket would be really useful (or I could just remember my charger plug!)||They have 2 gorgeous friendly black cats so if you are super allergic you might want to bear this in mind but they didn't seem to shed a lot (even with all the stroking). For us the cats were a bonus!||Hosts couldn't have been more helpful, offered to book dinner for us at the pub next door or make other recommendations. Suggested we visit Frome market on our way home which we did.||Lovely stay, would definitely go back if we're off to Longleat again. Thanks...
Read moreThe room was a good size. It had tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge which had fresh milk and filtered water replaced each day (it was also good to use to bring in a bottle of white wine to chill). The hosts were really attentive and gave us suggestions of places to eat in nearby Warminster. We were going to Longleat and had an early morning VIP experience booked. This was for a Sunday but they offered to prepare an earlier breakfast for us, and I thought that gesture was really good. For breakfast we had individual bowls of fresh fruit which contained a good selection of fresh fruit. This was served with a churn of yoghurt. There was a good selection of cereal and hot food all served with toast - the home made damson jam was delicious. We will definitely try to book again if we return...
