Well it's been quite awhile since Dilton Marsh has had a pub and the Weavers definitely shows a good sign of being successful as on the day of being open it was very busy. I like the new interior with the cream walls with the green coating underneath. The photos on the walls in the dinning area is a nice touch too. To start I went with garlic bread which was done perfectly and not burnt. It was that nice I forgot to take a photo of it. For my main course I picked a grilled chicken burger and asked for bacon to be added aswell. The grilled chicken was cooked very well full of flavour. The skin on chips were nicely done. For pudding I went with chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream and it was delightful and left me wanting more. Overall I had a good experience eating at The Weavers it's been so long since Dilton Marsh has had a pub and with the staff being excellent and well mannered I think it will do very well for the village. But I will say if your arriving by car there is very limited parking.

A lovely Sunday afternoon in the Weavers, I got the gammon steak which was cooked to perfection. Very good atmosphere and the service was excellent. Good to see using local produce and Cider companies. Definitely be visiting again! 😁

I am very sad to write this review as my experience of visiting the Weavers for the first time was not what I expected. I ordered a large breakfast for myself and ham egg and chips for the wife l looked forward to my breakfast and my wife to her ham egg and chips, when it arrived it didn't look very appealing the tomatoes looked like they had been left out in sun the for a couple of weeks dry and shrivelled up ,the mushroom was a black solid object inedible, to cut and eat,the baked beans were cold .The ham egg and chips were not much better the chips were cold and the eggs the same .So sorry to say we agreed not to stay and leave hungry, I paid the bill as I know you are a charity and need all help you can get but sorry to say I will not be recommending your establishment to any...

Our first disappointment was at Xmas time when our table was booked for the wrong evening. We arrived at 6pm with friends but were told they didn't have enough food for us to order ?? That evening the staff were rude and in denial blaming each other for their error . This evening we continued to support our local pub to watch England V France Rugby and whilst going to the bar at 9.43 pm was told last orders had been called ? The beer is poorly kept . I am also concerned that customers are unable to enter through the front door which is closed off and there is only one entrance / exit which has grave safety issues . What a missed opportunity in a...
