My husband and I got married at the beautiful Cambo House Estate over a weekend in May 2021 with 20 of our dear friends and family in attendance. We instantly fell in love the venue, because of all its character, beauty, uniqueness and versatility. Another one of the many reasons we loved Cambo was because of the amazing wedding team that we worked with.

We mainly dealt with Louise but had contact with lots of the team, including Kelly, Fran, Dana and the owners, Frankie and Sturan. Nothing was ever a problem and Louise always went above and beyond to offer help, solutions and ideas. All of this impeccable service was experienced prior to our wedding day. On the actual day and during our stay over the weekend, it did not stop or disappoint in anyway.

The venue got better and better once our amazing wedding stylists Platter and Pop put their stamp on it. We had an incredible evening with our wedding party the night before our wedding up in the woodlands area. We had fire pits, fairy lights and lots of drinks with amazing catering from Platter and Pop. It was in the style of individual grazes boxes and s’mores boxes that we could take our time with and then the amazing Cambo team tidied up after us, so kindly.

On the wedding day Louise was by our side whenever and wherever we needed her. She was incredible. We enjoyed our day experiencing lots of spaces the venue had on offer - married on the lawn, drinks and canapés in the courtyard, dinner in the drawing room then back to the courtyard for the evening. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the rooms and suites were and the breakfast was so lovely with such nice service too.

Cambo holds a very special place in our hearts and for us, it’s so special to know that it will be there for years to come so that we can visit and look back fondly to all of our wonderful memories. All we can say is that we will always be thankful for Cambo and it’s team and we wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for such a spectacular...

Attended a wedding here, the venue is a typical old stately home, bit dusty and dark, the library is bright and was lovely for the ceremony, however, many of the other areas were not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Multiple sets of stairs, uneven flooring, dark passages and so cold. The courtyard where the meal was served and the dancing after was so cold the staff offered blankets to guests. There were multiple other rooms that could of housed the guests for the meal which were warm yet these were not used as an option. The caterer admitted that it was extremely difficult to serve hot food in such an environment, that doesn't surprise me as the area was unheated, a space heater could of taken the chill off and made it a far better environment. In the upper level of the house where guests were for drinks and coffees there was 1 toilet, apparently there was other toilets but these were outside down several sets of uneven stone stairs, not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The evening dancing was held in the Courtyard, a cobbled area, rugs were placed over the cobbles, good idea to attempt to level the ground, however, as the surface was uneven the rug edges became potential trip hazards, again several steps had to be traversed to reach the Courtyard. There was no alternative accesses. Over all the venue is OK for able bodied fit people, for older people with any mobility or sight issues id advise to stay away. Dark corridors and tricky stairs...

Our wedding weekend at Cambo was an absolute dream come true. From planning across the pond in the US amid the pandemic in 2020, to navigating the ever-changing border regulations in 2021, Louise & Kay kept us sane, calm, and most importantly excited about our wedding! We were some of the lucky few who did not have to change our wedding date, and were able to get married during a perfect weekend in September 2021. All of our guests travelled from across the globe, staying with us in the main house and cottages, being incredibly well taken care of by our Cambo family, especially all the Kellys, and hands down the best caterer in Scotland—Bespoke Catering and Events. Our guests have repeatedly told us our wedding will be one they will never forget, and Cambo couldn’t have been a more perfect way to introduce them to Scotland. We will forever sing praises to all of our irreplaceable vendors, but in particular Cambo who made us feel absolutely at home, and for one of the most important weekends of our lives; there was no other place in the world we would have wanted to be. We can’t wait to be back for a visit, reminiscing it all—from our first look in the walled garden, ceremony officiated by our brothers in the ballroom, to three-days of celebrating in the courtyard, there’s no better venue to share one of the cornerstones of...

We celebrated our wedding at the gorgeous Cambo House in May 2021 and it was the most wonderful weekend of our lives! Planning a wedding in a pandemic wasn't easy - there was a huge amount of stress, anxiety and upset, but the team at Cambo were absolutely amazing. They were so flexible, understanding and helpful when we didn't know what to do. We couldn't have done it all without them and all their fantastic advice and professionalism. When the time came for our wedding weekend, it was an absolute blast. We had the most amazing time with our very close friends and family. We left feeling a sense of sadness that it was over but that we had made friends for life at Cambo. We will always hold it incredibly close to our hearts. If you are considering having your wedding at Cambo, don't hesitate - it's the best venue around with the loveliest people at its helm. Thank you so much Cambo and team - we'll never forget you!
