Stayed in the Shearer pod in Late March - it was absolutely amazing!
It was really comfortable and pretty big compared to other glamping pods I've stayed in. WiFi worked flawlessly and the TV in the pod was a smart TV so could log into Netflix and Disney through there. All pots and pans were provided and the kitchen, while obviously small, had everything we needed for a week away, like a microwave, kettle, and toaster. The bed was bigger than a double and was really comfortable. Each pod has its own hot tub with appears to be drained and cleaned when the pods are turned around. These are always kept to temperature so you can jump in whenever you like.
The location was great! There are plenty of good walks where you can set off straight from the pod or drive a short distance away. Windermere and Keswick are short drives too (though check to see whether Kirkstone pass will be closed or not). The views out the windows, and from the hottub, are magnificent too! The bed also has a window just above it, so we could look up at the sky while lying in bed - it was very cloudy and overcast most of the time we were there but we saw glimpses of stars for a few minutes when there were gaps in the clouds. The area is a Dark Skies area so you can get a good view of the stars.
The owners seemed to be lovely and were respectful of privacy. They left a lovely gift of prosecco, marshmallows, and some eggs which were all consumed. I can see from their Facebook page that they make efforts to make everyone feel welcome.
When speaking to the owner on the final day, she let us know that the cheapest way to book a pod is to message them directly on their...

Easily accessible, when you get to Hartsop, a few minutes up Cross Gate leads you to the car park. The pod was well equipped with pretty much everything you need and a very comfy bed - not had a good nights sleep like that in a while. We arrived when temperatures had started to drop but it was still very warm inside the pod. Hot tub was clean and made for an enjoyable evening watching the sunset. Would highly recommend Crossgate Luxury Glamping if youโre looking for somewhere to stay in the Lakes. So peaceful and relaxing. Very friendly...
