I always judge a place that says it's Dog friendly on how friendly? I felt my Puggies were very well catered for and they could be left to roam the massive gardens to their hearts content under my supervision of course. The Coach house was just the right size for 2 people and 2 dog's, towels were provided for the wet dog's and there were no rules, most dog friendly accommodation say they are but not really this place was, just treat with respect for the owners and next guests . In a very good location and great parking and a friendly and helpful host. Can't wait to return

Had a wonderful stay at the Old Coach House with my wife and two dogs. The accommodation, grounds and pool were superb and we were made to feel so welcome and the extra little touches in the in the cottage and around the pool made our stay!!! So close to all amenities but felt so secluded have recommended this place to all my friends, will definitely be back. 👍👍💯

We have been coming for around 4 years we love it nothing is to much trouble for the hosts. We come for the 40s weekends for a week and unfortunately they moved the dates for the event so we can't make it so not to please but I'll be getting my booking in next year without fail Wendy & Steve Cheltenham Spa

My husband, the dog and I are just back from the most wonderful week at Ellicombe Manor cottages. We loved the spacious, well equipped cottage, the beautiful grounds with all their unique areas and features and the pool - we were lucky enough to get sun every day and at the pool we literally felt like we were abroad. We walked to Dunster and Conygar tower, drove to Dulverton, the Tarr Steps, up on the moors and down to Lynton and the Valley of the Rocks. All were incredible and easy from Ellicombe by car. We ate delicious food at the Porlock Oyster Company kitchen and from the Friday fish van in Minehead. There's also 3-4 supermarkets within a mile....

The cottage was stunning - immaculately clean with extremely comfy beds and pillows - and lovely personal touches. Dog biscuits and poo bags, milk in the fridge a lovely selection of teas and coffee, and washing up stuff. The setting is just beautiful - a huge garden/grounds with lots of lovely private places to sit and enjoy the incredible scenery - pool looked awesome it was too cold to swim! Lovely long walks for my dog too. The hosts are so friendly and helpful - I could not recommend more - the best self service cottages we have ever stayed in! We will most definitely be back and sending our family and...
