10/10 would recommend! It was my first time glamping and at Hay Festival. Absolutely perfectly located for the festival (much more convenient than stopping in the town). I stayed for two nights. Price-wise, it's very steep - but rooms in Hay are impossible to get during the festival. But I'm so glad I stopped. Highlights: Great showers (note - bring your own shower gel etc.) Plenty of facilities. No queues for anything Tents felt secure, clean and airy (extra netting for bug-proofing) -Lovely communal space (I thought I'd struggle with this being the only place to charge phones etc. but worked really well - the place felt more social as a result - less people glued to their mobiles!..) Good breakfasts. Unlimited teas and coffees 24/7 Comfy bed Complimentary Welsh cakes, eye masks and water on arrival Hairdryers/straighteners tent were really appreciated (I arrived via public transport so this made packing light a breeze!)
Would love to return...
Read moreHay Glamping was absolutely lovely. They really have thought about all your needs. Very spacious and comfortable tent. The communal area which served breakfast and also had a bar was cute and cosy. Toilets were also great. We never used the showers as we only stayed for one night. There was also a separate tent for hairdryers etc and mirrors to get ready in. Located only a short walk from the main festival site. Very quiet on the camp with little to no noise from the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and supplied us with lots of Gluten Free options for breakfast....
Read moreFantastic facilities and service about as close to the festival site as you can get. We had a wonderful time at Hay Glamping and we have been back to the same site three times. Diane and the staff keep everything spotless. Great shower facilities, a fire pit, a bar tent with great prices and fantastic breakfasts! The pastries are amazing. You can’t beat waking up in a bell tent and walking through the grass to your breakfast. I highly recommend...
