Well, what can I say. Fiona and I stayed for two nights in order to visit the RHS flower show, initially on a b and b basis but opted to have our evening meal there as well. We were looked after by the hosts Lucy and Steve aided and abetted by Sam on the first night. This is a working farm in a beautiful rural location. We had a blissful stay. Welcomed warmly by Lucy as we arrived and shown to a fabulous room with the most enormous bed which was so comfortable we plotted ways to sneak it out of the house and into the car to take home. Beautifully appointed, the room was warm with tons of space for unpacking stuff into. Breakfast was brilliant using local produce including eggs from the chickens that roam around the farm and jam made from plums and fruit grown on the farm. The evening meal certainly did not disappoint. Cooked on an Aga by Steve. They have brilliant wine and make their own cider from apples grown on the farm. The whole stay was very relaxing, and Lucy and Steve were brilliant hosts. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay when you are in the area, look no further. I have no hesitation in recommending, you will not be...

Lucy and Stephen are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted by Walter the donkey and Gordon the pony, which made it a magical start to our short break. The sound of birds, farm animals and the cockerel in the morning made us feel so relaxed. I told Lucy we love animals so she showed us lambs, piglet, chicks, pigs, sheep and cows as well as meeting Tom, the Australian sheepdog and 'goodest' boy ever.

The evening meal of browned lamb stew was out of this world, as were the veg and roast potatoes and Lucy's sticky toffee pudding. The BnB is beautiful. Our room (Rafters) was spotlessly clean with a super comfy bed and thoughtful touches like fresh milk and water, top quality tea and biscuits and the toiletries smell amazing.

Location is great to be a world away from normal life but to be able to drive to places within 30mins. We will definitely be back. Our only regret was not eating Stephen's food on both nights. Thank you Lucy and Stephen, for making my birthday break extra special....

From first speaking to Lucy on the phone i new i was definitely staying here, but on arrival it blue my expectations.

I get extremely anxious about staying somewhere without my husband but staying here i felt so relaxed and most of all safe.

I met Lucy's mum (Anne) on arrival who is so lovely. Lucy, Stephen and Anne made me feel so welcome to a point I kind of felt like I've known them all for years.

I stayed in the pink room at the top which was incredible and the views were amazing.

Don't think because its on a farm it would be noisy because you would definitely be wrong. Its so peaceful.

I also made 2 new friends with the strangest things the donkey, the pony sadly i can't remember there names.

I did the upholstery course which was great, Lucy's understanding of upholstery is second to none and you couldn't ask for a better teacher.

Thank you Lucy, Stephen and Anne for having me and I'm now looking forward to coming...

We had the pleasure of marrying at Huntlands. What a brilliant weekend we had! It's the perfect setting for a rural wedding. The main house has exquisitely decorated rooms, ensuites and bathrooms and the breakfast room and sitting rooms are just perfect for family and friends gathering at mealtimes. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, Lucy and Stephen's hospitality on the lead up to our big day and during our stay was second-to-none and our breakfasts were delicious and hearty! We had such a lovely time, it all felt just right. We'll be back to sample more of that fantastic food and enjoy your beautiful surroundings again - just got to find another excuse to celebrate 😉 We can't recommend Huntlands as a B&B and wedding venue enough. Thank you!

Lucy and stephan are fantastic hosts from the first step though the front door we was made to feel welcome, stephan is a outstanding cook (make sure you try the jerk chicken) the room was clean and the views were amazing. We were able to walk round the farm and see all the lovely animals including the donkey yes donkey. You can see Lucy and stephan work extremely hard and are just lovely welcoming people, me and my wife have said if we ever need to stay this part of the country or within about a hour if somethink we will 100% will book again.
