I cannot explain how good the food is here. Ok, I’ll try. John, who used to run the Green Dragon in Bishops Frome, is now the chef here (if you know, you know). The Live and Let Live itself is absolutely charming. Plenty of parking, roaring fires and loads of entertainment. The staff are attentive and can’t do enough. You feel very welcome as soon as you step through the door. But the roast. The roasts are unbelievable. Hands down the best I have ever had (sorry Mum). They come with cauliflower cheese, as standard, I might add!! As well as crispy spuds, fluffy yorks, crackly crackling and stuffing, depending what you order. The meat is so well cooked. The gravy is perfect. If there was an award for the best roast then this place would win it. Genuinely. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub large inside and out very friendly staff ordered food which comes in very large portions (and good value for money), and also had pleasure of being greeted by Flick in the bar who followed out to the garden for a belly rub 🥰

What a lovely pub. Set in beautiful Worcestershire countryside and offering superb customer service. Unfortunately we didn't eat this time hence the rating but we hope to return very soon. The portions looked great 👍

Right from the start this felt like kids playing at running a pub. No menus, staff said "we're just doing pork, beef or lamb roast". Came with 3 small roast potatoes and a slither of roast parsnip, over cooked Carrots and Brocoli, the creamed leeks, cauliflower cheese and red cabbage were OK. Gravy was just coloured water with no taste to it. I had pork which was tough and still had blood in the middle, but the staff were too busy laughing in the kitchen to come and check on us. An older gentleman finally came in to speak to the 1 other couple who were waiting for their food and proceeded to tell them there were no puddings just ice cream, as someone had taken them all out of the freezer not realising they only had a 2 day life then as they were all shop bought. He asked us if everything was alright, and I said the pork was under cooked but he said he told the chef to cook it that way as I could have sent it back and they'd have flashed it under the grill for me. So no starters, no chicken and no puddings. 2 roasts and 2 soft drinks and 1 bitter £40+. I can see why they had hardly any bookings. They just didn't care, we felt like we were in the way, and then...

The staff are so welcoming, lots of people from around the village come in and have a drink because all of the other places for example The Talbot and the Admiral Rodney- they are shut but they don't provide good beer. I would highly recommend this place- the food is delicious, especially the Sunday lunches, because the leftover veg that you get, you can ask for a box to put it in and take home for leftovers or you can give some to your pets- they will...
