Myself and my husband have been going here for years!! Hotel is beautiful! Rooms are lovely!! Although I wasn’t impressed when we arrived!! Checked in them went to the restaurant to book a table for our dinner that night!! Only to be told the restaurant was fully booked??? Now that’s a first staying in a hotel an can’t get food!! Went back to reception to ask them if there was any where else to get food an they asked why? So we explained the story, girl at reception asked if we told the guy in the restaurant, that we were guests in the hotel, an we said yes, but didn’t make any difference to him!! So a lovely guy from reception said leave it with me, an went to speak to guy I’m restaurant!! After about 15 mins he arrived back an said it’s fine I have booked you a table!!! Which was brilliant!! But went for our dinner that night to find the restaurant wasn’t fully booked!! So all in all wasn’t impressed with restaurant staff!! But reception staff were all fabulous an couldn’t do...

We only used the pool and restaurant here as we stayed in a caravan on site. The pool was fine very basic, not as clean as we expected as we were there on the Tuesday morning and the Thursday morning and both days there was a fake eyelash laying in the same gutter. The changing room was fine. The restaurant was ok. We had a take away one night and ate in the restaurant one night and breakfast. We found the chips to be just warm both times. The burger of the week was good and my wife's macaroni was good. The breakfast on the other hand was quite disappointing. The black pudding was very dry, the potato scone was over cooked and very hard and only got one rasher of bacon and one sausage. Two of both would have been better. The coffee was...

My sister and I popped in for a cuppa this afternoon. We were welcomed in by Sarah and Shannon. They finished serving food around 2pm but was lucky enough to be offered a slice of Fudge Cake with ice cream and a slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake. Both were delicious and Shannon did a great job with their presentation xx

My husband and I walked from Drymsny Estate Loges and came here for a lovely meal, and met a lovely couple from East Kilbride with their little beautiful dog called Big Ears, who also enjoyed the gamnon steak and burger. What a lovely meal. Defo be back totally recommend, very cosy and welcoming. Thanks

Beautifully situated with lovely views. Prices fairly reasonable with a good selection of wines and spirits. Real ale available in bottles. No food served on terrace which has limited seating but there are plenty of tables inside. Can get very busy in the summer so checking ahead is advised.
