Disliked: First was the mattresses are just awful, one is rock hard and the other is just all springs neither are nice to sleep on, first night woke up freezing as we didn’t know how the use the heater as wasn’t told nor any signs on how to just luck I pressed a switch and after a while it came on. The first night was cold as well due to the window at the back not closing right from the inside it looks closed but outside you can see it’s not closed at the top letting the cold in. One evening my daughter and two girls she had met on-site where in the day room playing on the football table (which you can’t play in silence) where told to shut up by the old lad that works there and couple of the residents but yet it’s ok for them, to bring there own alcohol (vodka) and being loud and lary themselves, I wasn’t happy with that but the wife told me to hold back as we were on holiday. Toilets where clean but one toilet in the men’s ain’t a lot, and the poor layout of the shower area means if your on the toilet and someone’s in the shower the water runs literally under your feet. All the sites we have previously been to that welcome dogs always have a area were the dogs can exercise or go to the toilet but here it tells you to exercise your dog of site, so that’s on the road which when we went on it had cars coming down horses and cyclists so my little dog was nervous...

Liked: Lovely peaceful site! Only 6 touring pitches which almost guarantees peace! All pitches are fully serviced which is a bonus! We were on pitch 4 and basically stepped out of the awning and into the toilet and shower block! Staff very welcoming and friendly throughout the stay! The dog got treats nearly every day and was loving life! The bar is ideal and not overly priced,even tho this was our first time here we were made to feel very welcome and was always laughing with either staff or customers in the bar! Lovely well kept site!

Has a day room with a full sized snooker table etc

Wednesday night takeaway night pizza was beautiful! 2 pints cost was one Carling and one cider £8.60

I had a walk along the river got to the bridge and turned back it's all public footpath and was completely on my own apart from red kites flying around which was a delight to see!

We will be booking again! ☺️

Disliked: Only one shower in each men and women's was abit annoying at times and that it was spraying water out of the pipe connector that is hotter than the shower head and no where to put shampoo or soaps other than on the floor,which water was slow draining! Not ideal! But that's my only lil niggle!

The other thing I would probably suggest to change on pitch up is the adult only bit didn't bother us but was mentioned by another customer on another pitch saying I thought it...

The park looks very nice. The reception office guy wasn't around much for the fee days we stayed and wasn't able to check things or hire the balls for the snooker table that we really looked forward to. The arrival was pleasant and no fuss. Left to choose a pitch. The toilets in both the day room and the touring pitch site were filthy and needed a very good clean. Only one shower and one toilet in each which is a shame. The showers very good. The gents had a very drain like smell. Had to inform the restaurant who said would pass it on as they are a 5 star site. The pitches are level and nice with electric. Water and drainage . Restaurant lovely well priced food.thabk you. Very sad didn't get the snooker games with my dad. Went many times to the office lights in locked up and no one . A few locals said that it how it is sometimes if he is off site. Had a nice walk by the river and back and the residents on site were pleasant and chatty. Toilet cleanliness in the day room. The over flowing bin and beer bottles I emptied off a window and found space in the bin not very appealing. Nice touch the day room but the toilet In there oh my. Not had a proper clean in a long while. Nearly 5 star if few issues sorted. Please keep toilet roll topped up so we don't take ours every visit little embarrassing when people see what you are going for ! Thank you for a nice...
