From the moment we arrived Jane and Trevor couldn’t do enough for us. We were warmly welcomed with tea and cake in their beautiful garden before being shown to our bedroom which was spotlessly clean. The huge queen size bed was so comfortable, and we had everything we needed in our room to make our stay just perfect, including a large ensuite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The breakfast was to die for with an excellent choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, pastries, yoghurts, and a hearty cooked breakfast, followed by toast and endless tea, we felt very spoilt! Jane even went out and bought black pudding for my husband to go with his breakfast.

We loved the little extras in our room including fresh flowers from the garden, complimentary red and white wine, filtered water, magazines, and Sky TV with Netflix. We also enjoyed watching TV in the snug which was a lovely and comfortable place to relax in after a long day. Jane and Trevor were superb hosts who went that extra mile to make sure our stay was just perfect. We thoroughly recommend Pelham Grove to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay near Shrewsbury, you will not be disappointed! Jane and Trevor are lovely friendly people who love what they do, and it shows from the minute you arrive. Thank you, we really...

From the initial provisional booking due to Covid and the changes in our itinary, nothing was a problem for Jane. Even on the eve of our arrival our plans changed and Jane booked a late night taxi for our return from a wedding reception, without having met us. Due to traffic etc, we attended the wedding directly. We then went to Pelham Grove to introduce ourselves before the evening celebrations and Trevor conveyed us back to the wedding venue so we didn't have to collect our vehiclle in the morning. The following day having been given directions and a map book of Shrewsbury by Trevor, we returned and were given tea and scones in the garden as we had missed out on our arrival day, this was our fault not Trevor and Jane's. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and a delight, along with the availability of orange juice, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts and pastries you were never hungry. The room was so spacious, huge bed, TV with Sky, kettle, hot drinks, water, wine, biscuits a huge attached ensuite with separate bath and shower. We couldn't fault our stay, and felt we were one of the family and had managed many conversations with...

We have just enjoyed the most wonderful two night stay at this fabulous b&b. From the minute Jane and Trevor opened the door to greet us, we felt genuinely welcomed into their beautiful home. They have ensured every comfort is catered for, a welcome pot of tea and homemade flapjacks in front of a woodburner in the snug - just what we needed after a challenging 5 hour drive (fog and ice, with snow about to fall!). The bedroom was beautifully decorated, bath robes and slippers provided and everywhere spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and nothing was too much trouble. My message regarding dairy free had not got through and although I insisted not to worry, Trevor dashed out to ensure there was soya milk for breakfast! We cannot praise this B&B highly enough, thoroughly recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you so much Jane and Trevor, you should be very proud of your beautiful...
