On arrival, I was provided with a key card ...I believe it was room 109, on the ground floor. On entering the room, I was hit by an overwhelming and nauseating smell of urine and damp. On entering the bathroom, the stench was much worse....to the point that I felt physically sick. I went to reception, and explained the situation and asked to be provided with air freshener to combat the smell. I took the air freshener to the room, sprayed copious amounts, and sprayed the bathroom, closing the door. Sadly the smell remained potent. I again spoke with the receptionist, who came to my room. She offered to mop the bathroom floor, claiming that her sense of smell was very good, but she couldn't smell the overwhelming stench of urine. She offered to transfer me to a room upstairs, but I have a physical disability, so the room wasn't suitable. I was there to attend a wedding, so booked 2 nights, the wedding was situated a 5 minute drive from this Hotel. I tried calling other Hotels, but to no avail. I had no choice but to stay that night. I slept very little, and felt nauseated by the overwhelming stench. I left the wedding quite early, as I was forced to book and drive 45 minutes away, to another Hotel. I was extremely disappointed that I was unable to stay for the entire evening. I called guest services, who after much quibble was only prepared to refund one full night, and 50% for the night I actually stayed. When in reality, they should have received a full refund, and been compensated for the upset caused. The bathroom was filthy, what appears to be faecal matter was on the back of the toilet seat and the toilet bowl. Different hairs were in the bath, and side of the bath. I realised that the shower curtain itself, smelled strongly of urine and mould. The restaurant service was extremely slow, we waited over an hour to receive the most basic food. I'm extremely disappointed with my stay, and wouldn't recommend staying at this particular Hotel.

Have always been happy with Premier Inn. On this visit, once again, staff in reception are polite, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and laid out ready for our visit (family room). The staff at breakfast were also really friendly, smiling and very helpful. Social distancing measures have been relaxed but some items which were on the buffet still need to be requested. The counter screens and hand sanitiser stations are still in place. Plenty of parking available for the two accommodation blocks. Overall really happy with our stay and really recommend it.

First visit to a Premier Inn and we were really impressed. Staff were helpful and friendly ,especially Kathy, the bed was really comfortable,we had the meal deal and had a smashing two course meal with a drink and an all you can eat breakfast. The bathroom with bath and shower was spotless and roomy. Plenty of room, working space and power and internet connection. Free car Park with loads of room and a freedom to come and go with your pass key. Smashing stay with a lovely view over farmland and distant hills. Will definitely be re visiting other Premier Inns.

Shockingly poor Hotel. The nice Staff upon greeting us were polite, this is the only positive about the hotel. The Room for a family of 4 was very small and the bathroom door lock was broken. The WC Flush was also broken and the general state of the bathroom was smelly and needed a very good clean if not a full upgrade as it was old and tired. They send you next door to the Pub for Breakfast which was massively under staffed all weekend. Two lads serving the whole Floor at peak time. They were absolutely run off their feet and worked really hard but this caused Breakfast to be delayed by a long time, upon walking into the Seating area for breakfast there was nobody to greet you or show you to a suitable table, no Fresh orange, coffee machine was broke, no plates, no dishes, no bread. This is not the fault of the lads on shift. The Owners of this place need to sort this staffing situation out as apparently this happens a lot according to locals. Premiere inn use this Pub to serve breakfast so this is something you need to sort out. The guys working there were hard working and polite. If I'd have known how poor and frustrating the Breakfast situation was and how poor the Room was I would never have booked. £153 for one night was an absolute rip off, I will never return to this Hotel. Also, I notice here that the hotel do not respond to any Negative feedback so they clearly do not care and just want to...

Although the room was nice and spacious, me and my boyfriend were a bit disappointed. We called prior to our booking to confirm that we could have a room with a bath as I struggle with scoliosis and needed a bath after the travel. When we arrived we did not receive a bath. The night was very peaceful however the next morning we paid extra for a full English breakfast. When we arrived at the restaurant, granted she was the only member of staff working, however the lady that served us was very very rude to both me and my boyfriend. No one was at the door to seat us so when we asked if we should just go and sit down she snapped at us. She then said we can help ourselves to the continental. My boyfriend explained that we had paid for the full English and unlike previous premier inns we have stayed at, it was not out on a buffet table. She then snapped at my boyfriend telling him she will sort it now. We then waited another 15 minutes just to receive a menu from the member of staff, baring in mind we had places we needed to go that day. It was not busy at all in the restaurant and so I cannot excuse this behaviour...
