Wow. Never thought I would be leaving a food review for a premier inn, but I have to say the food here is so good and amazing value for money!

I’ve been here a few times for the breakfast, which is Ā£10 which includes all the Continental choices (cereal, pastries, yoghurts, breads, fruits) as well as Full English. All the hot food is cooked to order, which is much nicer than a buffet. The breakfasts I’ve had have always been nothing but excellent. Eggs cooked to perfection, food hot, not greasy.

There’s always the options of ordering more should it be wanted, all within the Ā£10 price! Personally, I always think I’ll manage a second round but never do.

If you go out for breakfast, even to a cafe, you’re looking at Ā£10+ just for a Full English, without drinks and without toast. So, to get it all for Ā£10 is an absolute bargain.

The staff have been nothing but friendly and professional on all occasions.

I’ve include a picture of one of the breakfasts (sorry, lighting wasn’t that great in my photo!), and also some pics of the bruschetta and Cajun chicken I had another time, also really good.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant....

This room made me ill and this is the second time I got sick here Absolutely filthy dusty dirty rooms dust and stains all over the room my asthma never flares up but in this room I had to look to see why I was coughing and found thick dust literally everywhere on the curtains on all light shades loads of cobwebs and dust and massive red stain on carpet The dust is really bad The air con air vents are full of dust and there was spiders all over both rooms I stayed in I couldn’t breathe at all and there was visibly dust flowing in the room and mould on walls doors and curtains This place has been reported by me to health and safety executive and head office so let’s see if they actually do anything Staff here are what I call fake nice to you All the doors slam worst of all the hallway doors slam and if your unlucky enough to be next to one this will keep you awake all night which is bad for people like me who need the sleep to be alert safely for work next day Parking is tiny spaces and always full The floor boards creek and you can hear people talking and coughing This literally is the worst place I have ever stayed I wish I could...

Position is a bit rural at a services not really near anything.

Room and hotel is generally very clean and well kept. On site parking is great and has a McDonald's at the services.

WiFi ultimate is pathetically slow that barely works which was disappointing. Had to use it basically at the door since it did not reach the bed area.

Although I appreciate Covid19 restrictions the staff do not seem to have proper training and lost our bookings for using on site facilities and when reconfirmed at reception on arrival the next day was forgotten and somehow no resolution available. Upon walking away had to come back for something else and the management was talking weirdly with guests and upon seeing us immediately moved away and staff became overly helpful. Suspect we was being spoken about and was very unprofessional. Emails that entailed for a trail were badly laid out with bad spelling and grammar. Also points out that the 'new system' is obviously well used in contradiction to what they said previously.

Never previous had any issue with Premier Inn since they are normally perfect. This one may...

Was Charged 135 per night for a bathroom which was covered in black mould and a bedroom which was covered in cobwebs and dust. Bathroom extractor is so noisy that you have to remove the card just to turn it off. If this wasn’t booked via my company. I would never stay here and would recommend it.
