Absolutely disgusting!!!! The "good" things first. Food was usual Greggs standard. You get what you get. Now for the rest:
Staff were all on phones stood around, no acknowledgement at the counter until I said excuse me can I get ABC. Cleanliness was... well, it wasn't. Considering there was 1 other visitor in there at the time, tables and chairs all needed cleaning. Floor was dirty and needed sweeping and a good wash
The killer for myself (and my partner) were the toilets... now my partner said the mens were disgusting but did not elaborate. However, I went into the ladies and walked back out! Floors had dirty 💩 covered tissues in both womens cubicals. More tissue and dirt on floors. The sinks had mold on them were generally dirty and looked like they had never been cleaned. And the smell matched the description 🤢🤢 i got back in the car and waited until we reached our destination to use the bathroom. And gave my hands a good wash too! I hope the owner of this store reads this so he can have a chat with the staff to actually do some work and maybe train them in...
Read moreFirst time in a roadside Greggs and so nothing to use as a bench mark apart from similar style outlets. Very sparse inside and not particularly clean. Food debris on most if not all tables and chairs. No discernible atmosphere are all. The only member of staff who was serving was very pleasant indeed and,in fact, was the only good point. The Gregg's sausage roll is becoming an institution, but left me underwhelmed. The worst part, however,by a very long way,was the toilets. Mens toilets absolutely stunk. Couldn't quite believe it. Thought I had stumbled into festival toilets from 20 years ago. As well as the smell,no handwash and no hand dryer working. An absolute shock. Reliability informed that the ladies toilets were equally lacking handwash and dryer facilities. Quite shocked and surprised at the overall state of the place. Even more congrats to the only staff...
Read moreAbsolutely appalled by the service I received during my visit today, walked in at 9.15ish to see Greggs area dirty and unkempt so slightly put off there but to then go to the toilet and have to use toilet rolls of the floor just topped it for me, so then I asked a lovely woman in Burger King who advised me to speak to Greggs as she wasn't open just yet (acceptable as why should a store not open have to deal with the lazy and bone idle ness off the other two businesses which had plenty of staff), so then went to Greggs to get told, by I think his name was Jacob, that I would have to wait As he was too busy to sort the toilets, but yet all I seen was him walking round whilst the other 2 staff was serving, after that it did it for me i will never use another Greggs again thanks to Jacob, think he needs to learn some...
