We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sinclair Bay Lodges for a two-night retreat, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking sea views that instantly set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The lodge itself was immaculately presented, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind while taking in the stunning surroundings. Traveling with our energetic 3-year-old son, we were delighted to find that the lodge was not only child-friendly but also catered to his every need. He was particularly enamored with the outdoor space and couldn't get enough of exploring the nearby beach. In addition to the fantastic facilities, the location of Sinclair Bay Lodges was ideal for us. Situated close to Wick, we had easy access to a variety of shops, including Tesco, Lidl, B&M, and more, making it convenient to stock up on essentials or indulge in a spot of shopping. This was our second stay at Sinclair Bay Lodges, and it certainly won't be our last. The combination of stunning sea views, luxurious amenities, and convenient location make it the perfect destination for a family getaway. A huge thank you to our host for ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. We can't wait to...
Read moreLovely setting. We had the puffin lodge, and it was beautifully presented and puffin themed throughout. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom.|We would have appreciated more information about the facilities before we got there. There wasn't an oven, which if we'd known we would have rethought our decision to bring pizzas for dinner! The kitchen had the bare minimum of equipment and could have been better thought-out - eg 2 ring hob, but the pans provided were too big to fit on the hob at the same time!|Information about the local pub would have been helpful as well - when we realised there was one it was too late to get a table for dinner.|The hot tub was beautiful, though it was too hot. Either lower the temperature or give guests access to the controls so they can adjust. The terrace was very private in terms of the screens separating each one, but noise carries - our peaceful morning was interrupted by the cries of young children on the neighbouring terrace. Loved seeing the sheep crossing the beach in front of the...
Read moreThis is our 4th stay at the lodges, completing a stay in each of them, Orca, Puffin, Stag and this stay in the Heilan Coo. Each pod is kitted out to a very high standard with everything needed for a comfortable stay. This lodge is 2 years old now and still looks like new. Andy and Penny have done a really great job in creating this wee site on the North East coast of Caithness. Weather was not the best but didn't stop us having a great stay. The hot tub and patio area are very private, no noise from the neighbouring Lodges. View out to the Sinclair Bay is capturing when in the hot tub, wildlife and boats etc. You can easily cater for yourselfs with the hob, microwave. We ate out a couple of nights up at the Village Inn in Keiss ant it...
