We stayed recently as a family during the Easter holidays. We hired both the Duck House and Shepherds hut for two nights. Both were decorated beautifully and so homely! Andrew our host was friendly and helpful and happy to show us all around. My children loved all of the farm animals (especially the chickens) and the dogs. This is such a lovely place to come for a break, it's great to be able to spend time with the animals, spend time with family in such beautiful surroundings and be made to feel so welcome by the hosts. We immediately booked for next year and the kids are already counting the days!

A beautiful setting, generally well appointed, very clean and well maintained. The only let down was lack of disability access to some of their facilties at the farm, even some hand rails would have been helpful in the bathrooms and to help enter and exit the hot tub safely. There was simply no way I could even use the plunge bath for the sauna as I might have been able to get in but I'd never get out in unaided. Something for the owners to think about to help less able guests in the future.

What a wonderful place to visit and stay at. The host is amazing and provides you with everything you need for maximum comfort and an enjoyable experience. I have stayed here before and will be back again. Reasonable priced and very comfy beds. The hot tubs are also something you need to try out. Thank you Tamano farm for a lovely weekend with my friends.

We had a fantastic winter week's holiday in the lodge. There were eight of us, 2 grandparents, 2 parents and kids 8, 5 and twins 2. Difficult to say who had the best time, the adults or the kids. The adults liked the hot tub and sauna, whilst the kids loved feeding the chickens, sheep, goats and donkeys, and generally exploring the grounds. Andrew and Ralph are incredibly thoughtful hosts and quickly respond to any query, no matter how minor. The lodge itself is very well equipped and the layout easily suited our family routine. We didn't use the lounge woodburner because of the kids but there was no need because of the constant warmth from the ground source heating system. The weather was mixed, sometimes dreich, sometimes sunny, and seldom windy, and it was an absolute pleasure walking around the different garden areas watching the early signs of Spring. We all had a thoroughly relaxing and interesting holiday without the hassle of jetting off somewhere. We'd love to come back, maybe in a different season, (maybe without the kids!). Highly...

We had the most fantastic stay in the Shepherds Hut at Tamano Farm and can't recommend it enough! Andrew and Ralph were so warm, friendly, helpful, and their care and attention to the space is really above and beyond. The surrounding land is so beautiful and we love all the animals, especially the donkeys!

The hut is the perfect size for two people looking to escape. The softest bed, great little woodfire place to warm the space, and fantastic wee porch to sit out and watch the donkeys. The hot tub and outdoor shower are so dreamy and fun. The outdoor kitchen was super well stocked with everything you could need.

Can't...
