Sue and Mark were both friendly and welcoming and after a wonderful evening sightseeing in Bath came home made supper in the communal kitchen and had the most rewarding sleep in super comfortable beds. 15 minutes out of Bath a great venue in the country.

Nice big room and ensuite clean and tidy . Breakfast really good and served hot how it should be.

Despite calling ahead and getting directions from Heathrow, I took the wrong road that they specifically told me to avoid b/c it is very narrow and winding. So it is a little tricky to get here. However, once you do, it is worth it! This is a manor house tucked into a quiet neighborhood. It has an air of history that you do not get at most places. Also the small village is very quaint and always what I pictured the typical English countryside to be.

We arrived late in the evening after dark due to taking the wrong road. Initially the place seemed foreboding, however on we met the owners, they immediately made us feel welcome. We stayed in November 2019, during the offseason so were the only family in the entire house. We stayed in a large room that was make for many more guests. What really stood out were all the little amenities that we never saw before like a towel drying rack and hot tea in our room. The most important aspect of any place you spend at night is whether you are well-rested, and definitely got lots of rest. The beds are soft and the neighborhood is quiet.

The hosts were kind enough to provide a continental breakfast so we could continue our whirlwind tour of England quickly. Overall, highly...

Trimnels house is located in beautiful scenery; the outside exterior is beautiful and pleasant. They have a lovely big garden, which has beautiful chickens. The interior of Trimnels house is beautiful; it appears as a traditional country guest house. There is a homely vibe inside of the house. Mark and Sue were extremely helpful and friendly; they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The en suite double rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with modern furniture. There was a large variety of breakfast to choose from, which...
