My family have been trying to twist my arm to go on a family camping trip... for years I made up excuses not to go, but then we found White House farm Glamping... situated in the beautiful Hereford countryside perched alongside the river Wye. Absolutely stunning location and the most upmarket tipi tents you’ve ever seen. Clean, beautifully presented, modern and stylish. The site holds around 6 tents so very private and each with its own private garden or outside space, picnic table, fire pit, BBQ and outdoor movie experience which was really fun. We have two teenage children aged 16 and 13 who soaked up the countryside, the opportunity to spend time with their parents, play cards, football and watch the sun sets. Amazing what kids can do when they are not glued to their phones!! But what made our mini break super special was Pauline and Andrew, our hosts, who avidly ensure you have everything you need with a friendly chat and smile. They both work tirelessly and the camp site is spotless and well equipped. They keep the outdoor showers (which are magnificent) super clean. There is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided in cute brown glass bottles in every shower. Beautiful fairy lights and pictures make the being clean business very welcoming (our kids even showered twice a day.. unheard of). I was super impressed when I went to the loo this morning and Pauline had already cleaned the toilets (at 6am) immaculately, ready for the guests. This felt like a posh hotel with lots of fresh air... absolute heaven. I would totally recommend this place and it has completely changed my view of a family camping trip!! Huge thank you to Pauline and Andrew who couldn’t have been more accommodating or more welcoming. We will be back!...

A great place for a family break - we went as a family of four with two young daughters and all loved it. The site is fab with six large teepees, communal toilets and showers, and a kitchen area. We stayed in Rosie - a lovely big teepee with comfy beds, atmospheric lighting and a mini fridge. Outside we had a seating area and fire pit under a shady tree. We loved the outdoor projector and film night, and the complementary marshmallows were a hit with the kids!! Communal facilities were clean and well done.

The site is a two minute walk from a private beach on the River Wye where we swimmed both days! Lovely spot. We went on a tour to see the cows being milked on the farm which was fab. Hosts were lovely.

Only downside was that dogs are allowed and we shared the site on our first night with a small yappy dog that wasn't always on it's lead and chased us at one point!

That said, we booked a return trip with friends hours after leaving!! Already looking forward...

Me and my family had the most amazing time at White House on Wye Glamping! The tipis, set in an old apple orchard right by the River Wye, were cosy, comfy and had everything we needed – proper beds, lighting, heating, a fridge and a kitchen area. Everything was spotless and well looked after – from the soft sheets to the super clean bathrooms. The kids had an absolute blast running around the orchard, exploring and swimming in the river. The team were brilliant – so friendly, flexible and always happy to help. We loved the outdoor cinema under the stars, evenings by the fire with a BBQ, and trying fun activities like paddleboarding. The location couldn’t be better – peaceful, surrounded by nature, with walks, historic churches, lovely pubs and amazing views all nearby. Would 100% recommend it for families or couples wanting a relaxing,...

We had a great time staying in the White House tipis. The tipis were spotlessly clean and all the beds were very comfortable. There is a heater in each tipi which kept us all warm despite the chilly nighttime temperatures. Jo was a fantastic host and made the stay even more enjoyable. We loved the river too, it was easy for our kids (ages six and eight) to get to and it was super fun playing the water and taking our padleboard out. The location is great and the campsite views are really nice too. We'd love to come back sometime soon

Beautiful location, very quiet and spotlessly clean, both the teepee and toilet/showers. Lovely little touches, like blankets, torch, shampoo and conditioner and fairy liquid to name a few. Very safe for little ones to explore. Fire pit was fab as was the little kitchen area. They really have thought of everything. No or very little wifi but actually you can live without, especially as they have films to watch on your own projector. Very dog friendly and the river is a 5 minute walk across the fields, watch out for cow pats though!

Beautiful site where there is no WiFi and very limited phone signal. Perfect to take the step back and fully immerse yourself into pure relaxation! Tipis are so spacious! Kitchenette is fully equipped! Bathrooms and toilets are well maintained! Added bonus with your own fire pit / barbecue to use as well as gas stoves and pots available! All you have to bring is clothing! 6 tipis in total making the site so peaceful!
