Yew Tree Farm Holiday Cottages — Hotel in Great Britain

Rachel and Grant were very welcoming and extremely accommodating, going above and beyond during our stay! The Cottage was as described/pictured and very comfortable. We spent most of our time in the kitchen dinner, at the farmhouse table with beautiful fresh flowers from Rachel's walled garden. We enjoyed the breakfast package we preordered on Sunday morning and there was plenty of milk available to purchase for all our cups of tea/coffee. The secure garden was perfect for our two dogs but we did keep our 2 year old cocker on a lead until we were sure he could be trusted as the hedges had some gaps which lead to the main road/the family's private garden and chickens! We didn't get up too much but did enjoy an evening walk along the canal, a drive thru icecream, a meal at recommended The Pheasant Inn and a day wandering Chester's Lanes. As returning guests, recently over from Canada and this being the 5th time my family & I have stayed at Yew Tree Farm Cottages.

This is truly a home from home experience, an environment, which offers peace, nature, many nearby places to visit and a friendly warm welcome. Rachel & Grant really are Super Hosts! Consistently providing such a wonderful space to unwind in.

As always, there was a vase of freshly cut flowers from Rachel’s garden, on the table, and the Cottage was spotlessly clean. Milk & Orange juice and freshly laid eggs in the fridge. I’m an extremely fussy individual, but this place ticks all the boxes! I would highly recommend Yew Tree Farm to others, especially those of us who love a touch of class!👌 Can’t thank our hosts...

We stayed in the Cottage at Yew Tree Farm in September 2024. Everything around booking, information provided before our arrival was really easy and helpful.

On arrival, we were genuinely so impressed with the cottage. It's in such a lovely location, it's peacful and tastefully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean.

Rachel the host was quite busy that weekend but spotted us on the second day of our stay and popped out to say hello and check everything was ok and although we were in and out doing things in the area as a family I have no reservations that if we'd have needed anything, Rachel would have helped where she could.

A genuinely lovely property, lovely area and lovely hosts. I'd happily stay here again...
