I had an extremely disturbing experience during my visit at Little Foxes Hotel. A shocking incident occurred when a staff member, Abdul Basit, aggressively confronted a guest simply for walking near the hotel's back garden. The guest apologised, explaining that he was unaware of any restrictions, especially as there were no signs indicating restricted access. However, rather than resolving the matter calmly, the staff member became visibly angry, approached the guest in an aggressive manner, and attempted to physically attack him. Fortunately, other staff members intervened to protect the guest. This alarming incident unfolded in front of other guests and families with young children, causing significant distress. Two families left the hotel immediately due to safety concerns, while another took protective measures for their young children, who had been sitting nearby. Throughout the ordeal, Abdul Basit continued to act in a threatening manner, attempting to advance toward the guest while using profanities—even in the presence of young children. Concerned for our own safety, we made the difficult decision to leave the hotel as well. It is deeply concerning that Little Foxes Hotel employs staff whose behavior puts guests at risk. I sincerely hope that management takes this matter seriously and implements appropriate action to ensure the safety and well-being of future visitors. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of other well-regarded hotels in Crawley that provide a safe and comfortable stay, especially for those traveling or leaving their car before heading on holiday

Blocked toilets, unclean, poor customer service. I have never stayed at a worse hotel. Be warned..!! Having booked the room at the last minute... Another story... I went to the reception to check in. All OK asked what time breakfast served from... We don't do breakfast... Go to the bar to grab food and a beer... We don't have a licence.. Went to a local pub a 5 minute drive away. Came back to the room went to the fairly grotty ensuite.. The sink and toilet blocked. Went to reception they came with a plunger, this was not a plumber, and said the problem was fixed... I was not so sure. And I was right. I asked if I would get any refund as I had been inconvenienced to be quite aggressively told if you want a refund leave now! The rooms are not very clean the bathroom was dirty, the shower was filthy, the shower head with black mold and only just managed to get Luke warm and dribble of water. Oh and by the way the toilet seat was also loose.

This hotel is primarily used as an overnight stop off for those travelling to and from Gatwick airport and at the price, I think it offers great value for money. The on-site staff were extremely friendly, food was available at a reasonable price and cars can be left at the hotel whilst away (at a cost). It is important to note that a taxi is around £20 one way to Gatwick and I was quoted £30 from the airport to get back to the hotel, but managed to get an Uber instead from outside of the airport (a task easier said than done). It is also important to note, there is no alcohol at the hotel, which isn't a big deal, but worth mentioning. The room itself was very clean, the bed comfy and the shower was hot. There wasn't much sound-proofing, but as I assume most people staying there will be getting an early night anyway. I highly recommend the hotel, the only caveat being the price of a taxi to get to and potentially from, the airport.

Whole building was outdated, Room wasn’t properly looked after The cleaner left hairs on the clean bedding The way they store the bedding & towels is horrendous None of the windows could open as they either didn’t have any handles or the handle was broken, Uneven driveway Staff aren’t helpful and are never around Can hear other guests in their rooms Not clear markings or signs on where to park There is a kitchen but it is for staff only yet they allow guests who are family in there only The beds need replacing, one mattress was solid and the other one just went straight down to the bed base as soon as someone sat on it The beds were uncomfortable The bottoms of the chest of drawers were broken The wardrobe doors weren’t even done properly The rail inside the wardrobe kept coming off The cleaner has a family member in the room with her while she’s doing room service which is highly unprofessional The cleaner doesn’t speak English Room service goes from every 4 days to 2 days of your choice but even then it takes the cleaner over an hour and a half to do your room They say they do breakfast and dinner but none of that was offered during the stay

I would only recommend this place if you are flying out of Gatwick airport for a holiday and use the airport parking as that’s seems to be the only good thing at this place but other than that definitely wouldn’t recommend staying at this place at all especially as you have to drive everywhere as the location ain’t ideal for walking to the local shops as it’s on a country lane where cars go speeding along all hours of the...
