Grafham Water Lodge — Hotel in Huntingdonshire

Loved this place . Serene and peaceful . It is a villa project in forest areas near to Grafham waters / lake. Houses are built in same pattern and the side road from mains lead to this village structure quietly. Parking spaces available for almost 20 cars where we enter to the village and recycling bins too are there . Road leads to woods and each house is on both sides - beautiful it is.

Facilities inside house is quite comfy but please do not fancy luxury. The look of building is Fancy and photogenic ☺️ but inside house we need to compromise with spaces and heights. Stair case is too steep and unable to be an option for elderly but then there is a master bedroom on ground floor itself. Upstairs , there are two bedrooms like attic rooms with two single beds available in each. TV with for sticks connected to Toktok internet available in every bedroom. 2-3 cars can be parked in front of each cottage , depends on where you book to stay. There is no wheelchair access where we stayed but don't know about other cottages . The kitchen is small but provides all equipment including dishwasher.

Wooden Deck at front is very convenient and superb spacious for a BBQ party. Kids will love this stay.

Walks to lakeside and woods , cycling trails , bird watching, just reading a book in country side or enjoying rain with privacy - you count the possibilities to many ❤️.

Told Marc our dates for the booking two days ago with the understanding the dates were saved and deposit on the way.

Marc didn’t block out the dates for us and ended up cancelling our booking, sending our deposit back in favour of a last minute air bnb booking.

If Marc had told me to book on Air Bnb I would have booked on Airbnb and not wasted two days dealing with Marc directly and faffing around with a booking...

I really enjoyed my two day family holiday here at Grafham Water Lodge. I booked no. 16 with Marc and everything went as planned. Coming from London, it was a nice getaway staying in nature, my daughters loved seeing rabbits come and go.
