Brooke-lodge guesthouse 4 star guesthouse — Hotel in Ireland

I can't say enough positive things about this B&B and its hosts! Martina and Eammon are ALWAYS genuinely kind, helpful and warm; they truly excellent at being B&B owners. I stayed at this B&B 13 years ago, and just like then, the B&B felt like a home away from home. I knew i didn't have to worry about hairs from former guests in the sheets, towels or in the shower (and that's a HUGE thing for me), and i knew the bare floors were clean enough for me to take my shoes off and walk around like i would at home! Amazing hosts! Comfortable bed and room! Wifi! TV! En suite bathroom! What more could a guest ask for? Oh, that's right! A clean dining room in which i trotted downstairs to eat the breakfast i got up for every morning b/c i love the sausages, bacon, MUSHROOMS, cereal, juice, toast, blackcurrant jam, and black pudding!! Last time i stayed at Brooke-Lodge, Eammon had to park my car for me cause i wasn't good at parking in smaller spaces - he was a pro! And this time, Martina helped me look all over for the key i thought i lost! I would absolutely recommend staying at Brooke-Lodge if you can! It's iin an excellent location for touring the Antrum coast, Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, and most importantly for me - the BEAGHMORE Stone Circles! Plus, there's an excellent bakery (The Corner Bakery) in Cookstown, just south of Magherafelt. THANK YOU Martina...

Hospitable & friendly as soon as you arrive. Large spacious bedroom with fantastic shower/bathroom. We were working late & got in after 12pm, they left out homemade buns with the fully equipped tea/coffee station for us. The bed was soooooo comfortable. Health & Safety was gr8, they noted the electrical safety checks....even the hair dryer had a cert. of compliance. Breakfast was BRILLIANT!!!! What a feast, cereal, fresh fruit & yogurt, full fry 😋 freshly baked scones & a large pot of tea. Everything was done right. There's a he'll of a lot of hotels that could not just take a page out of these guys book, but come here & study it hard. Loved it here, we will stay here again & we will be recommending to...

Happily booked to stay at the Brooke Lodge Guest House (Magherafelt), as attending an event at Seamus Heaney Centre in Bellaghy. We were warmly welcomed by exceptional hosts to this unique and cozy environment. The luxury of being welcomed to a space of calm, cleanliness, comfort and super service has been a delight. The owners are super helpful and knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer. Breakfast at Brooke-Lodge, with its extensive choice of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, beverages and, expertly cooked, locally sourced ingredients, was a definite treat!
