Just stayed a night here and it was beautiful definitely way better than my expectations. Nearly refurbed and it looks like no money was spared. Really lovely décor it would give Galgorm a run for its money in the look department. Rooms where lovely and spaces, brilliant showers, very powerful and warm. Foyer/lounge area very relaxing and nice looking over the patio area and golf course. Gym equipment really good quality and nice mix. Pool a great size. Only negatives where I would prefer the gym to be open earlier than 8am, seems quite late for hotel gyms. Check it was 4 pm, which personally feels quite late and it was pretty close to 4 pm until we got our keys, which I have never experience in a hotel before, normally when we arrive a bit early the rooms are available, which in turn delayed getting to the pool. I 100 % know this isn't something that they promised but did seem unusual and lot of waiting around then. Will be back staying...

Beautiful location and hotel had a grandiose appearance, so expectations were high. We were a party of 3, a couple and 10 yr old granddaughter. Got off to a good start, shown promptly to our table and drinks and meals ordered once seated (we had picked from menu before arrival). 15 mins passed and drinks hadn’t arrived. Only ordered jug of water for all + juice for granddaughter. The staff weren’t rushed off their feet, they stood in an huddle at the bar, so no excuse. Around 1/2 hr passed and meals arrived but had to remind them of drinks order. Our meal was ‘ok’ nothing to get excited about but our granddaughter’s (chicken & bacon carbonara) was nothing short of disgusting! Couldn’t find the chicken, maybe 3 tiny pieces in all and the sauce had a tinny aftertaste. Needless to say she couldn’t eat it. This is not what you would expect from this calibre of hotel! I usually give anything 3 chances, but I will definitely not...
