Lowfield — Hotel in Lancaster

Truely a wonderful experience to stay in an estate that was built in 1901. This is definitely not an Airbnb but a lovely home with all the amenities shared with us by the generous host. We, a group of Malaysian family was excited to had the opportunity to stay in a English home far from our daily life back home ie in a cubicle of a link houses. The surrounding was breath taking,, the home was extremely comfortable, they even had an old fire place, a small portable radio in the house which allowed us to listen to English broadcasting while preparing our self catering meals and above all, able to dine using portmirion cutlery for our daily meals which is not common in many Airbnb we stayed. Visited here with my Girlfriend for a quick weekend away and neither of us have a single negative thing to say.||||The hosts were polite and helpful, the room was large and heated nicely with the bed and pillows being very comfortable. The room and accommodation were spotless, the bathrooms were very modern with a large shower in our room, as well as the property being sat in beautiful grounds, and situated perfectly for a night out in Lancaster or Preston.||||Breakfast was also fantastic with a lot of variety and all of it great quality. I can't believe this place is as cheap as it is, as we both agreed we would happily pay more for the room and service...

What a beautiful, cared for, welcoming place to stay.|There’s so many lovely walks and drives out to do. We visited Lancaster, Brock Bottom, Beacon Fell, Guys Thatched Hamlet and Barton Grange - all within very easy access. |Rooms were a generous size, IMMACULATELY clean, with comfy beds and a lovely, traditional but modern country feel. |The gardens are glorious and looked after beautifully and we look forward to booking again. |The breakfast was hearty and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. |Highly recommend and the price...
