Best Log Cabin — Hotel in Mole Valley

Myself and my family stayed at the Windmill Cabin for 3 nights in June 2024, I wanted us to stay somewhere that had something for everyone, I like to fish, my kids like to run around and explore and my wife likes to relax and take in the views. This place had it all!||We loved the cabin, it felt very authentic, the outdoor area was perfect in the day and the indoors with log burner on was very cosy at night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliance's you'll need.||Over the 2 days we caught a variety of fish off the dock including Carp (common and a massive mirror), Bream, Perch, Roach and Rudd. It was fantastic.||The views are incredible and it's very quiet and private, we occasionally saw people from the other cabins/huts out for walks but that's it.||The owners also gave us an amazing hamper on arrival containing all the essentials plus meat and dairy from their farm which was very generous.||Overall, an amazing place which gave us an amazing experience we'll not forget, we would definitely come back again to try one of their other cabins, I can't recommend this...

September 2024 Just returned from a 4 night stay in the cabin. WOW 🤩 what a beautiful place, a cabin, with your own fishing lake full of beautiful carp and catfish. The rowing boat is a great addition. It was so peaceful. The owners are great and make sure everything is perfect. If you are considering booking a stay here, book it, you will not be disappointed!

April 2024 Just returned from a long weekend in Windmill cabin. What an absolutely beautiful place, attention to detail was out of this world and easily the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Quality appliances, wood burner, outside copper tub which was a lovely touch, comfortable beds, rowing boat, paddle board and a very generous garden which was fully enclosed for the dogs. Hamper on arrival filled with delicious produce and even treats for the dogs. My husband caught quite a few fish, common carp, mirror carp, bream. The biggest carp being 19lb. You can walk all round the fields with the dogs and chill out on the beautiful outside area. It is so quiet and really is a hidden gem. We cannot wait...

4 years ago I was lucky enough to come across apple tree cottage to book for a holiday over new year for my husband and I and we weren't disappointed. We both enjoy fishing and have 3 dogs and I'm not afraid to say that I like the finer things in life 😉. Finding somewhere to tick all these boxes is near impossible, we loved it so much we have had several trips back and been lucky enough to stay in 3 of their 4 properties. Our latest stay over new year was in their latest property windmill cabin. Chris and Tracey thank you for creating another amazing place to stay. The cabin has been built with the same love, care and attention as your other properties and looks like it has always been there. The shower is particularly AMAZING.
