There are some places that are memorable, and some that are unforgettable, and the Treehouse at Ravendere retreats most definitely falls into the later of the two. From the moment you first catch sight of the Treehouse nestled between the branches of the surrounding woodland, you know you're in for a fantastic experience. Entering the Treehouse almost immediately fills you with a sense of calm and stillness I don't think I've experienced anywhere else. Perhaps it's silence that is broken only by the occasional bird song, or maybe it's the gentle rustle of the leaves as they sway in the breeze. Whatever it is, it's just perfect and makes you feel ready for a relaxing stay. Everything in the Treehouse was well maintained and ready for our stay. From the welcome gifts to the well stocked wood store, we knew we need ask for nothing more to enjoy the next few days of calm. The recommendation of the local pub, The Grampus, in Lee was a pefect suggestion for dinner and a drink after a walk along the local clifftop pathways that make up part of the South West Coastal Path that cuts through Lee and on into Mort Hoe and Woolacombe. There is also a nice gentle walk around the woodland to explore and plenty of smaller walks from the Treehouse down to Lee that are work a 15 - 20 minute stroll if you're ready to leave the Treehouse. But it might take a lot to make you want to leave the sanctuary of the stillness and quiet of the Treehouse and I wouldn't blame youu if you just wanted to sit nestled within the trees and relax. We'll hopefully be visiting again in the near future and have already shared the experience we had with friends and family. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for a return visit.

What an experience. I stayed here a few days ago and needed a little time to fully digest it all—so I didn’t do this review a disservice. Location: I’ve never felt such peace and safety on a UK getaway before. The location is so well thought out—you feel a sense of ease as soon as you arrive. Surrounded by forest trees, it’s not overwhelming, just pure bliss. Accommodation: From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed by a refreshing, spa-like scent that immediately relaxes you and adds that luxurious touch. The place is beautifully furnished, with every detail clearly thought through. There are so many elements to take in—“retreat” is truly the right word. It offers the perfect balance between access to local amenities and a peaceful escape from everyday life. Pool: The pool is spotless, and the temperature is just right—lovely and warm for a swim at any time of day or night. My partner and I kept saying this feels like a mini Maldives retreat—right here in the UK. Cleanliness: This is where many places fall short, but not here. Everything was immaculate—from the crisp cotton bedding and soft bathrobes to the spotless floors. The standard is genuinely five-star. Well done to the team— you’ve exceeded our expectations. A phenomenal level of quality. We’ll definitely be back. To anyone reading this: book as soon as it becomes available!

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend at The Treehouse at Ravendere Retreats! We have had the most wonderful time and really look forward to coming back soon!

Right from the very start of the process, everything has been so easy and stress free to book and arrange. Your website is clear and easy to follow, and most accurately explains the retreat wonderfully. The availability and booking system is very straightforward, and followed up with a very quick email confirming arrangements. It was also great to be able to email with you as the day got closer to finalise arrangements. On arrival your warm welcome immediately put us at ease and your help in getting our luggage to the Treehouse was very helpful! Arrival at the Treehouse is just magical - it is so beautiful and enchanting from the outside, and once inside, is just a really calming and relaxing space. The photos on the website are amazing, but getting inside and seeing it for real is even better! You made us feel so welcome, and it was therefore really easy to instantly relax into our weekend!

The Treehouse itself is most luxurious. The build quality of the Treehouse is stunning, with so many interesting features and geometries. I had to spend time in each and every room just taking in the beautiful architecture of the building. The furnishing and fittings inside are really sumptuous, whilst also being practical and functional. We were so lucky with the weather and therefore able to spend most of our time on the stunning balcony gazing at the Treehouse and also into the trees all around. The valley is so quiet and we were able to listen to all the wildlife of the valley and see the deer walking by. It enabled us to reconnect with nature, whilst surrounded in the comforts and luxuries of the Treehouse. The very tasty hamper with local produce was a real treat - particularly enjoyed the cream tea!!! As evening approached the lighting was carefully designed to enhance the amazing views and surroundings. The bedroom is just delightful, with an extremely comfortable bed. We slept so well and have most definably recharged our tired batteries. Although we only stayed for the 2 days we have returned feeling that we have been away for much longer, which shows that we were able to completely unwind and relax. We did venture out for a small meander through the woods and the babbling steam, which was...

Staying at this luxury treehouse was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a serene forest, it felt like we had our own private slice of paradise. The attention to detail in the design was remarkable, seamlessly blending modern comforts with the natural surroundings. One of the quirkiest features we loved was the unique bathroom sink—it had a creative, artistic design that added so much character to the space, making even the simplest moments feel special.

The private sauna and hot tub were absolute highlights, offering the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. It was such a treat to sit back in the hot tub, surrounded by trees, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us. The sauna was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge—totally blissful.

The peaceful surroundings made the whole experience even more magical. We could truly disconnect, with only the sound of rustling leaves and birds in the background. It felt like we were worlds away from the everyday hustle and bustle.

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. Every little detail, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful touches like a welcome basket, made us feel right at home.

If you're looking for a luxurious, peaceful retreat in the forest where you can truly disconnect and recharge, this treehouse is the place. We...
