I wanted to write a review on the marquee. I wanted to throw my daughters first birthday at their marquee. I went and viewed the venue with my mum being told that i can have my own catering and drinks and so on. It was written on paper of all the details basically finalised. When i went back again to pay the deposit i mentioned i wouldnt need an open bar as we are muslim and wouldnt need any extra drinks (the open bar was not explained to me at all at my first visit). Because of our needs, i thought serving own drinks would be more efficient and appropriate. I was told after agreeing that i may not have my own drinks but will be told within 24 hours with a decision. I waited 5 days for a call so i decided to call and was told i am not allowed to bring my own drinks or even my own FOOD after i was promised and was told that i can! I was very upset as i had pretty much organised everything for that day. I had even told most of my guests to save that date for my daughters day. I was told that i was guaranteed my own catering including drinks. My daughters first birthday now ruined. Her birthday is a few months away. They have never catered to muslims and now i believe i know why. They didn't understand my needs and i feel like i have been treated unfairly. I am very disappointed and feel very upset with the way the situation...

The 2 young ladies that helped us set the room up, you did a grand job. Louise, the wedding planner, knows exactly how to make a bride feel at ease every step of the way. She made herself available for everyone's questions & nothing was too much trouble (even the groomzilla :-) ) Sophie was on reception & what a lovely person she is. Every time I turned around she was helping someone & couldn't do enough for anyone. You are a star! The energy of the staff was astounding. They never stopped! They made every person feel special in their own way. We stayed in the cottage which was absolutely lovely with everything you need to make 6 people comfortable. The food was great! We had the afternoon tea option at the wedding which was perfect & just enough to still feel comfortable in your wedding attire & hit the dance floor. Breakfast had more than enough options for every kind of diner. All in all we had a fantastic time & cannot thank all the staff enough for...
