Beachcomber Cottage — Hotel in Skye

Nice seafront location. Right beside the loch bay restaurant and same road as the stein inn. Garden is in front and goes up to the pebble coastline. House theme is country style throughout kept to high standards with own fireplace (didn't need to use it as central heating was very effective) fully functioning kitchen, washing machine, WiFi, shower, lcd tv, OS maps of Skye and a cicerone guide, local books on skye/scotland. Clean and tidy. Felt very pampered and cosy staying here away from the hustle and bustle of towns but at the same time, part of a 1 street...

Lovely get away in early November.

Basically at end of the track road from Waternish to the bay area with in a row cottages containing the wonderful Loch Bay restaurant (ie next door).

Cottage is cozy and furnished appropriately. Kitchen kitted out (including a wee bottle of wine to ease us in!) with easy to use equipment. Bedrooms and bathroom of the same quality.

WiFi is available and came in handy for day planning.

Road into Waternish is the usual Skye single track road. Just keep your wits about and look out...

This is actually called Beachcomber Cottage (it was Henderson House about 20 years ago). It's cosy and well equipped. Foodie paradise as it's nextdoor to Michelin starred Loch Bay restaurant, and short drives to Edinbane Lodge and The Three Chimneys. Oh, and a 50 yard stroll to the Stein Inn which serves fantastic seafood. We bought a lobster direct from the fisherman on the quay and had ourselves a feast.
