Visited YURTea&coffee to have a coffee and some cake. We choose Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows, an Americano and two applecrumble pie. This pie was fresh and tasted as it should. Very very good. The yurt is located next to the Skyeskyns shop. From the outside you'll have a beautiful view over the bay and it's surroundings. Indoors the vibe is very friendly and nice. However, no views on the surroundings when you're indoors. Because of the location next to the Skyeskyns shop, we had a unpleasant encounter with an American tourist. She thought it was totally acceptable to put her used spoon on our table. Wasn't too pleased with that. That's not the fault of YURtea&coffee. It does say what kind of people will visit this as well. People who travel in small groups with excursions to the Skyeskyns shop and not feeling to do so. And are therefore bored and hang in or around the teashop. Don't let that stop you from visiting though.

Cute interesting spot for a break. Come early so you do not miss out on selection of cakes. Limited seats but no need to book - he staff will be confused if you have booked online. Staff is friendly. It will be hot and stuffy on a hot sunny day but benches outside of yurt

We didn't get to eat there but the visit to the sheep skin fur shop was interesting; & my companions did get themselves some furs that were exquisite!!we didn't do the tannery tour as it needs prior booking I was told but the scenic beauty was enjoyable anyway .

Really lovely spot on Skye. We enjoyed our coffees and ice cream in the lovely outdoor seating. Amazing views and wonderful customer service, the staff were so friendly and welcoming- something we didn’t always experience on Skye as visitors. Definitely...
