I did post a review on my unhappiness earlier in the year but was asked to remove it with a handful of lies and empty promises. So here is my review as an even more unhappy customer who would not recommend this store to anyone! I placed an order for a 3 + 2 seater sofa with footstool in April. I was given a lead time of 6-8 weeks. When 8 weeks arrived and I had heard nothing I rang the store only to be told the lead time was infact 8-10 weeks. Again I waited with no contact at 10 weeks I called the store again and was told it was due in this week and they would contact me to arrange delivery. By the end of that week I still had no contact so AGAIN I called the store and was told delivery was due to be the following Wednesday (Good job I could manage to get someone to be in the house!!). I was also told I would get a call an hour before delivery so I didn't need to be stuck all day. This call didn't happen like this I got a call for delivery but only for the driver to say he would be there in 5 mins, again good job someone was in the house! Sofa's delivered great - No the footstool was missing, called the store to be told they didn't know what had happened to it and they would get back to me. Again I ended up chasing the store to be told it had been missed off the order by the rep and would be 8-10 weeks, as a gesture the store would try and get me some discount. I didn't hear anything again for a few days so again I called the store to be told they would get the footstool as quickly as possible and the Rep was going to cover half the cost and the store would cover the other half. I waited the 10 weeks and when I called the store to see where my footstool was I was told he hadn't been able to chase it up due to the factory been shut for Factory fortnight (bear in mind this was 16th August, passed factory fortnight). I again left it and now 2 weeks on I have again called the store to be told - we think its due Mon or Tues and we'll call you to deliver. I have no faith in anything I am being told, I feel fobbed off and when I do speak to them the attitude is that I shouldn't be hassling the, its not their fault and I should be grateful Im getting the footstool for free...... 5 months on still no footstool, hence why I will NEVER buy from here again and will not recommend this shop to anyone. I always give people a chance to rectify mistakes but this store has had far too many opportunities, they have never once rang me apart from the last time I left a review on here and they rang me will pitiful sob stories begging me to remove my review, which I did but not this time - Furniture Superstore you have let yourselves down massively, I had shopped here for Mattresses and Carpets prior to this incident but now will go elsewhere for everything, the prices may be good but the service...
Read moreI wouldn't even give it 1 to be fair! They are an absolute joke. We paid for a corner sofa back in August which we received in October. It was obviously faulty upon getting it as within' 2 weeks the corner bit collapsed when I sat on it (I'm 8 stone). We reported it to them and also explained from the beginning that we would not have it repaired we would only accept a new one. They still sent someone out who said it actually couldn't be repaired, they still tried to offer us only a repair! After going back and forwards (us constantly ringing them as they never return calls) they decided at the beginning of December they would replace it and said it would take 8 weeks to come. We accepted this but it is now past the 8 weeks and after constantly calling them and being told someone would call us back (they dont) they have now said it will be another 5 weeks! We have said no to this as we havnt been able to use the sofa since October as another seat part on it is going aswell. We asked them to come and take it back and we will have a refund as now we wouldn't trust this firm in anyway. They lie about everything and are extremely rude! Bought savannah coffee table for £319 on 16th july 2021 which had surface defect on marble top, martin came out to confirm defect and had thoughtfully brought out replacement just incase, which unfortunately was chipped but he has ordered another one, got to say aftersales service is excellent which is what its all about! Hoping new one is ok when delivered in 4-6 weeks time!
18th september 2021 hoping to get news of my replacement table top, no delivery date yet and been 2 months!
21st sept 2021 They are delivering new top next week...excellent!

9th oct 2021 No Word- No Table top?? So disappointing!
11th october 2021 Had to ring to see what is happening, martin says he will chase this up! Just waiting forever, very poor!

Turning into worst shopping experience ever!
When i ring, staff are great, manager ryan said he will look into it, promising to ring back but never has....
If my table top does not arrive this week i am going to get in touch with Alex stephenson (owner) and ask for a full refund!!
