Hope Orchard — Hotel in Tewkesbury

We we're met on arrival and given our key. Once in the room we went through the visitor folder that gave us all the details we needed for our stay and really useful information about the local area including cab numbers, bus routes and local places to visit. The location is excellent. We used the buses over 3 days as they were great for getting into Gloucester and Cheltenham and only £2. Great for our nights out when nobody wanted to drive. Also a great location for The Cotswold Way and we visited some wonderful villages. Apart from Gloucester we visited Bourton on the Water, Lacock, Nature in Art Gallery and Museum and did a 5 mile Cotswold Way walk. The room was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed including a little microwave and a fridge which we weren't expecting but they were great, large wardrobe with big drawer, bedside cabinets, large desk/counter, toiletries and towels. There were lots of plug sockets for us to use. Plenty of tea and coffee (and biscuits) which were restocked every day. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Large choice, perfectly presented and delivered on time every day. There is a big red telephone box on site full of leaflets for places to visit which is such a great idea. The hosts were wonderful too. Really friendly and professional. Overall, with the hosts, the lovely little touches, the cleanliness and the location, our stay could not have been better. Found this B&B by chance, read reviews so thought give it a try. So glad we did, as soon as you drive into the grounds it's evident the owners take pride in the property. Everywhere is immaculate and well maintained. Rooms were spotlessly clean, with a mini fridge, tea, coffee and a microwave. Continental Breakfast was provided by ordering the evening before and brought to your room at time requested. (We wasn't sure about this, hubby likes a full English 🙄) well he wasn't disappointed. Eggs on toast cooked perfectly, breakfast bap was filling. A good choice to choose from. Lovely seating area just outside the rooms for an evening cuppa or morning breakfast, weather permitting.

Great location and easy to get to Cheltenham center or Gloucester .
