I was looking for a dog friendly bed and breakfast in the Cotswold area. Part of my family was coming from Italy to join me and my husband to celebrate a family event. I really wanted to find a nice place for the 7 of us and I couldn't believe my luck: I have found a real gem! The 4 rooms we occupied were all beautifully decorated, very comfortable and all with a stunning view. I actually could not believe that they looked even better than the pictures showed on the web site - usually it is the opposite!. The owners Marco and his wife Cathy were absolutely lovely. They were very helpful from the moment I called to ask for some information (before our stay) and pleasantly welcoming when we arrived. As they knew it was a special event for my family they made it even more special offering 2 bottles of Prosecco for us to celebrate.... The attention to details was fantastic. The breakfast room was really beautiful too, again with an amazing view, and we also loved the fact that it had a relaxing music playing in the background. Same applied when in the evening we were sitting in the room adjacent to this. My little dog also enjoyed his stay as just 3 minutes from the Malvern there is an amazing walk in the green going up the hill/ mountain. The dog was running around free meeting other dogs and in one occasion a horse as well :-) This bed and breakfast is centrally located so it is easy to reach the various little villages in the Cotswold area. The only bad point for us was that our visit was only for 2 nights... TOO SHORT! This place is a perfect place to relax and more days would have been perfect....We definitely will go back here if we organise another trip to...
Read moreWe had a wonderful stay at Malvern View. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was so lovely with our own private little garden and the best views to cleeve hill. The bed was SO comfortable and we had everything we could need and more, like some delicious complimentary teas, hot chocolate, cookies. Breakfast was incredible, so tasteful and fresh every day, and there is a wonderful pub at walking distance. Stephen was very kind and helped us with questions and tips about the area. We did a little bit of the Cotswolds way and it was so much fun. Location is excellent, about 15 mins drive to Cheltenham (there is a bus right out the door and also taxis/uber are available), a cute little town with lots of shops and restaurants, very well connected with transport to and from London and Bristol, and also buses (in case you don’t have a car like us) that take you to many of the most beautiful Cotswolds villages like Bourton on the water, Stow on the wold, lower slaughter and more. Definitely recommend visiting the area, it’s very much worth the hype, and staying at Malvern view was the best...
Read moreMalvern View was above and beyond our favorite stay while hiking the Cotswolds Way. Set right along walking paths and the golf course in Cleeve Hill, it is in a wonderful location. Stephen, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We arrived before check in and while Stephen was still out, so the sweet cleaning lady prepared tea and cake for us, which we ate on their lovely outdoor patio while we waited to check in. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the bathtub in our room was simply luxurious, and continental breakfast was delicious. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations, we cannot recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast enough, thank you for our lovely stay,...
