Stable Lodge B&B Cheltenham — Hotel in Tewkesbury

One of the best lodges/B&Bs we've ever stayed in. We travel extensively and like to stay in small hotels, lodges, inns, and B&Bs. This is one of the finest. We had the Honeymoon Suite and it was superb. Nice size, all newly furnished and decorated, but felt cozy and warm. The beds and furniture were specially made for the lodge and just lovely. The owners/hosts (Mark and Mona) have thought of everything from white fluffy towels, robes, and great linens, to enough room for clothes and toiletries. The shower is wonderful...a large walk-in with rain shower and hand-held. Water was nice and hot. The mattress was just right and we slept well. No noise at all since the location is off the main roads. Mark made breakfast to order and the breakfast room is also bright and inviting. Mona makes bread every day so it's fresh and with the best ingredients. We loved the location just a few miles from Cheltenham. This allowed us to have a "city" visit along with the many villages we found throughout the Cotswolds. We were within 30 minutes of most of the towns and villages we wanted to see. We'd recommend checking out your map before you get too close to the lodge location. The road leading to the lodge is not easy to find at night even with GPS. Just had a one night stay as a stop over on our way to Falmouth. What a lucky find.||We were met by Mark who showed us the breakfast room and went through breakfast with us, taking our order. After admiring the beautiful garden and their home and the stable buildings which Mark and his father had put such hard work into and renovated it into the amazing bedrooms they are able to call "the Stable Lodge" today.||The bedroom, as the rest of building, including hallways and kitchen are pristine. Our bedroom contained everything you needed, comfortable bed and duvet ( albeit we didn't need as we visited during the end of the heatwave we were having). Stand up fan, tea/coffee and biscuits and lavender toiletries. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was really powerful.||We ate out in Cheltenham in the evening, about 10 minutes drive away.||Breakfast the next morning was really good and very well presented. Cooked by Mark himself and assisted by another gentleman who was very polite and helpful.||Unfortunately, our one night stay was over too quicky, but we will certainly recommend and will be back ourselves either as a stop over again when visiting Cornwall etc or to visit the Cotswolds. Exceptional Father's Day Getaway - First-Class Accommodation and Outstanding Service!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Stable lodge B&B Cheltenham for a Father's Day weekend getaway, and it exceeded all our expectations in every way!

Accommodation: From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the first-class accommodation. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, the rooms were large enough to cater to all our needs and the grounds just had fantastic scenery.

Customer Service: The customer service we received was second to none. Mark and Mona were incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They provided excellent local recommendations, promptly answered any questions we had, and even went the extra mile with the babies we had with us during the trip. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel well-cared for throughout our stay even the babies didn’t want to leave them 😄

In summary, Stable lodge B&B provided a fantastic getaway that left us feeling refreshed and appreciated. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience in the Cotswold /Cheltenham area especially for families as well. We can’t wait to return!
