The Oak Barn Frame Farm was the wedding venue of our dreams and it highly lived up to all our expectations and gave us the most magical wedding day that we had always dreamed of. The venue itself is just beautiful, set on a farm in the countryside which matched our rustic theme perfectly. The views and the scenery around the venue were stunning and it made all our visions of our special day come to life. The venue is beautifully self contained which also means you have the venue all to yourself which was a massive perk for us. As soon as we saw the Oak Barn we fell in love and knew instantly it was the wedding venue for us. We booked the venue and all the cottages for the whole weekend Friday-Sunday. This was the best decision we had made and can’t recommend doing this enough. It meant all our closest friends and family could stay and we had a whole weekend of wedding celebrations. We was able to arrive early Friday afternoon and we started setting up for our big day. This also meant suppliers could also come and start setting up anything they needed to. The staff were amazing and just let us do our thing allowing us to treat the place like home but were always there happy to help if necessary. We had a small party on the Friday night on the terrace with all our cottage guests and we also all had breakfast together on Sunday morning to stretch out the wedding celebrations and ending on a high. By staying at the cottages also meant we could all start getting ready early for the big day and made the morning feel so relaxed. We truly had the best weekend celebrating our wedding. The staff at the venue couldn’t do enough for you. From booking to the day of the wedding they were always so happy to help and answer any of our questions. They were all so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding that we wanted. Deana and Tim; the owners of the venue were so friendly and kind and always checking on us to make sure everything was all ok. Hayley and Chris the day and night managers were just amazing and we can’t be more grateful for all their help. They both did so much for us. Hayley helped us organise everything from day one to coordinating the wedding day itself. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always available to help us whenever we needed her. Chris was so kind and helpful and even helped us tidy up on the Friday night party we had and even offered our friends a lift home on the wedding night. The staff just went above and beyond, even on the wedding day when i had miss placed my shoes and bouquet the staff had kindly put in my room at the cottages for me. We cannot recommend Deana and Tim from THE OAK BARN enough. From the first contact with them until after the wedding day, it was a 5 star service throughout. Nothing was too much trouble or effort for them. Customer service was exceptional, as was their professionalism. Like many others, we were forced to change date on multiple occasions (three times in the end). Deana and Tim could not have been more accommodating throughout. While some business owners took this as an opportunity to take advantage and raise prices, Deana and Tim showed immense integrity, maintained regular contact, reassured us and accommodated us to the best of their ability, all while managing our expectations and trying to offer the same high level of service to other couples who had already booked and had to change dates, as well as prospective new couples to offer their amazing venue to. At no stage did we feel like it was just another business transaction to them. They clearly care about and invest a great deal of energy into anyone wishing to hold an event at their beautiful venue. From the outset, Deana offered military like planning and precision, no detail was too small or not considered. This reassured us greatly and we could not have asked for more. As for the venue, words cannot describe how perfect it is. We could not have asked for a better venue than The Oak Barn. The hospitality of Deana and Tim made what would ordinarily be a rather stressful one, more so due to multiple date changes, smooth and flawless. This was the theme they maintained from the outset. The venue exceeded expectations and it is immediately apparent that Deana and Tim have poured their heart and soul into making The Oak Barn the quality venue it is today. The buildings and grounds made for a picturesque and tranquil country environment with modern and high quality finishing and amenities. It was the perfect balance of country and sustainable living with a modern and ecofriendly twist. We would not have wanted to get married anywhere else. My new husband (!) and I got married at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm on Saturday 28th August 2021. We first visited the year before and, from the minute we arrived, we just knew this was where we wanted to get married. Frame Farm truly is a hidden gem; the wonderful rustic farm buildings on the outside have been renovated beautifully on the inside (e.g. smart lighting, sound system, in-house microphones etc.). The surrounding green fields give a lovely openness, and we loved the fact that our wedding wouldn't be constricted to just one room for the whole day; we had full use of the Farm which gave us such flexibility and allowed us to be creative to arrange the day however we liked. It was wonderful seeing our guests on the day explore the grounds, finding their own places to chat and mingle, and really made it feel like the Farm was "ours." The fact there are beautiful cottages on site that our family could stay in on the wedding night was such a bonus - and really made us all feel "at home." One of the things we loved most was that The Oak Barn itself is such a stunning space inside and needed very little in terms of decorating (which is highly unusual for a reception venue). Planning a wedding during a pandemic was a little stressful - to say the least! - but Tim and Deana were consistently supportive and patient, and made us feel really taken care of. They gave great recommendations for local suppliers and tips on how best to utilise the space, and were patient as last minute changes cropped up as the day grew closer.
