Not for big rigs!! We weren’t able to talk directly with park managers over the phone when trying to book. This park uses an answering service and the folks that answer the phone are very nice but I don’t think they have ever set foot in this park. If you want to communicate with park managers, you have to email. We booked over the phone via the answering service for our 45 ft 5th wheel. They said our rig would fit and assigned a site to us. When we pulled in, the folks who actually run the park met us and said to look around and see what site we like best. They were very nice. The man also walked the park with me showing various sites he thought we might fit. The problem is, yes you can physically fit the rv in the space but no way to get it into and out of most of the spaces that were long enough without tearing up your RV. Narrow lanes and lots of trees everywhere with tight turns make this unusable for bigger rigs. They have a beautiful swimming pool which would be great if you have a medium sized or smaller RV. We decided we could not make it work for us since I didn’t want to risk scratching up the paint on my RV or worse. They offered a refund minus a cancellation fee and we agreed. I ended up backing out of the park because I didn’t want to risk tearing up my RV trying to go further in then trying to get back out again. That didn’t work out too well for me either because when I backed down the driveway to get back down to the highway, I had to cut it hard and was trying to hurry before and cars came down the road. Well, I turned a little too sharp while backing and my trailer contacted the back window on my truck and broke the back window, plus left a crease on my cab. We went and found a better campground for us nearby. As I type this my truck is in the body shop getting the cab repaired and a new back window installed for $2300. When we booked, we were charged $504.50. They refunded us $499.00, then charged the cancellation fee of $30.50. Not sure why the math on that is weird but I’m too sick about what happened to my truck to fight about a few...
Read moreMy kids and I stayed in the Bohemian cabin for a few days. It was perfect for what we needed. It has everything you could need for a short stay. I really liked that they had a Murphy bed that converted into a couch for the daytime. I think if we were to stay a bit longer it might get a little crowded due to there not really being any place to store anything like a closet. Then again I think the cabin is really meant for two people and there were three of us there. There were some Adirondack chairs outside around the fire pit which was very quaint. They also had a grill which came in handy. If you need to get some food the Brookshire Brothers wasn't too far away which is in Hubbard. There are walking trails, fishing ponds, and dog parks. Anise and Greg are awesome and friendly people. If you are looking for a place to stay this summer just to get away and be surrounded by trees I would highly recommend staying at the BATL Ranch. Thank you Greg and Anise for making our stay...
Read moreEDITED REVIEW: Management reached out, as listed in the response. We understand things happened and we may have just had bad luck with our arrival timing.
If you have a big rig, this is not an ideal spot. Could not talk to anyone on the phone before the reservation to confirm park policies and spot sizes. Booked a spot that fit up to 42ft campers with a 42-foot camper. Arrived at the campground during open business hours, and no one answered the office door. Knocked and rang the doorbell. The roads are very narrow, and it is almost impossible to turn out of the office with a camper without hitting a tree. Got to our spot, and there was almost no physical way to get our camper into the spot without taking out a utility pole or a boulder. Texted, called, and emailed the contact info provided with no response. Still took 15 minutes of finagling to even safely get out of the campground. I'm sure the amenities are nice but not worth $270 for a week when you can't get...
