Hotel Colombus — Hotel in Aguada

If a zero or negative number were possible, I'd surely NOT rate them with a one. The rooms are 100% tile, you're given one towel & one small bar of soap each. That's it. The bathroom doesn't have a mirror & there's a single, low end, door knob lock securing your door. The tile looks new (aka remodeled) but there's nothing nice about the rooms. There's a tiled bath tub on The balcony, but it's not a jacuzzi. Also, there are no walls for privacy between your tub and the neighbors tub. For that matter, the neighbor could use your tub because there are no walls at all on the 'private' balconies. ||The included Breakfast isn't at all what you'd expect. First off, breakfast is set for 8:30, but doesn't actually start until 9am. And, breakfast consists of Folgers drip coffee in a styrofoam cup and half of an egg sandwich. Sandwich equaled: bread, thin egg, American processed cheese,and a think slice of grocery store lunchmeat. MCDONALDS does better than this. And, the resident owner/manager was more focused on reading her Facebook on her cell phone than attending to guests. ||Other than location, there isn't anything nice about this place. Spend your money elsewhere & enjoy the surroundings. Try the Crash Boat Beach area for nicer hotels & beaches. ||If you're a solo guy coming down to fish & drink, then this place might suffice. BUT, don't bring your significant other & kids to this...

All I need to say this Hotel has been the worst place ever ||For the hotel i will upload pictures the speak alone||The disgusting part was how rude the owner is not only he was play games to not refund money between him and Hotel.com you.need to follow his rule he forgot that we paid to stay 4 day my room was never clean i paid for a ocean view that was unsafe dirty full of roaches not sepqration on terrace so my neighbors could come to my area but he make you sign a waywer that if get still he is not responsible...wifi is an illusion ...we downgrade to a no ocean view for wifi not nothing changes||He promised me the free breakfast for compensate the ocean view extra but I used 1 time the other time was closed||Food is horrible too||Not fruit in PR||No tea PR peaple do not drink tea his word||Please...

La descripción NO es lo mismo cuando llegas a la habitación. Tuvimos la misma experiencia que otra de las personas que dejó un review en Diciembre 2020. Reservamos la habitación específicamente por el “jacuzzi” con vista al mar y realmente con todo lo que pagamos pudimos haber conseguido otro airbnb o hotel en Rincon de mejor calidad. Estabamos planeando pasar la mayoría del tiempo en la habitación ya que teniamos ese “jacuzzi” con vista espectacular y fue lo menos que pudimos hacer. El supuesto jacuzzi no tenia agua caliente (prácticamente no hay agua caliente en el hotel). Se lo notificamos al gerente y nos dijo que tomaba tiempo en calentar, esperamos acerca de TRES horas y el agua nunca calentó. Tratamos de usarlo al otro día y tampoco pudimos por la misma razón. Quizás las otras habitaciones valen la pena pero definitivamente NO volvería a pagar casi $200 por noche por esa habitación. Casi todo en la habitación se veía dañado y viejo y ni el baño tenía un espejo. Otra cosa que debes tomar en cuenta es que la dirección que aparece en airbnb no es la correcta y te envía a casi 20 minutes lejos del hotel. Se lo notificamos al gerente así que esperemos que arreglen eso. Para terminar, el día que nos íbamos nos levantó fuertes sonidos de personas construyendo en el hotel a eso de las 7:30am. Yo entiendo que el hotel necesita mantenimiento pero nadie nos dijo nada.

A lo único que le doy un poco mas de estrellas fue al gerente quien fue extremadamente servicial, amable y hasta nos calentó una pizza en la barra de abajo ya que los cuartos no cuentan con microondas.

El hotel tiene un potencial bien grande pero definitivamente NO me volvería a quedar ni lo recomendaría. Vi algunos reveiws buenos y malos pero decidí darle el beneficio de la duda ya que dado a la pandemia las cosas no están fáciles, pero me molesta haber pagado tanto por algo que no es lo que promocionaban. Yo vine de vacaciones desde USA y decidimos sacar unos días para visitar el Oeste, guiamos desde Luquillo y lamentablemente quedé defraudada

Consejo para futuros huéspedes: lean los reveiws! Consejo para la administración: actualicen la descripción del hotel con una que sea real porque la que tienen ahora es un un engañosa en especial cuando le están vendiendo un “jacuzzi” a las personas y el hotel no tiene ni agua...
