Not so good experience. We visited this seafood place for first time cause we saw their menu on Facebook and decided to give it a try. So we got there and waited a fair time to be seated and they took a long time to acknowledge us. Finally we found a seat and the waitress came to take our order and she was very nice and courteous. I ordered a seafood mix (Mariscada) and my wife ordered a lobster with rice. Both plates looked great but both were overcooked. The lobster meat was tough and so was part of my mariscada. My plate was served with pieces of broccoli and the broccoli was iced cold. In general, I don’t mind to pay whatever price it is for awesome food but they’re too pricey for less than average food. We’re not planning to to back in the near future. By the way, they should make sure their windows and doors should be cleaned at all times. I was looking forward to trying Waves for dinner after reading the reviews. There was no outside seating available when I arrived and the temp was near 90F. The only seating available was "inside" which might have been ok except all the fans were off and half the windows closed. When I asked if they would turn on a fan they said no. Since I'm not a fan of dripping sweat while sitting for a meal in this price range, I got a coke and took my food to go. I guess this will be my first and last time eating here. Not having air conditioning is to be expected and no big deal but refusing to even turn on the several available fans to make the indoor experience bearable...

I don't normally go to seafood places to eat steak, but someone had recommended the surf n' turf. I was between a full size lobster or the surf n' turf. I asked the waitress and she said I like the cuts of meat here, I would do the surf n' turf. While the filet mignon was cooked to perfection, the quality of the meat was really, really bad. Sam's has better filet mignon. The seasoning and the mushroom sauce was good. The lobster and mofongo were pretty good. The portion was sizeable and the service was very good.
