1st off I booked a room at Quality Inn with 2 beds. Upon check-in I was told that I was in the motel next door that's being converted under Choice brands. Noticed that breakfast area was a joke. Got to the room and it was a king bed, not 2 beds. All hotels were booked solid because of the hurricane. The carpet was dirty, toilet seat was about to fall off, absolutely no bathroom/tub amenities, garbage left from another user, no toilet paper, bed felt moist. I found a housekeeper spraying something in the air in a room and asked about tp. She had none and sent me to another housekeeper. She also had none and said she'd bring some. In 2 day's, none came. Good thing I had some in my car. The only good this was a newer frig. My socks were black from the carpet. This is by far the worst motel I've ever stayed in. When I complained to Choice they only were willing to add 8000 points to my account. Run from the Springs motel that's next to the QI in Alachua. May end up switching motel brands after this. To the owner response...As I clearly stated I made a reservation at your QI in Alachua only to have it switched to that dumpy motel next door which your gal said was being converted to a Choice brand motel.

This place is disgusting. The rooms were very outdated and not cleaned well. I found someone’s toe nail on the floor, with blood or pasta sauce splattered on the wall, and they do not keep the AC on in the room so it was very musty. The bathroom wall tiles were peeling off and adhered with packing tape. I wish I would’ve spent the extra money and stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn. At least I’ll know next time. The only positive was the price which earned it 2 stars.

I do not recommend it too nasty. breakfast a scam, expensive rooms, I booked by phone and they told me a price and here the receptionists charged me 3 times on my card for 1 night. the receptionists don't do their job well. the room smelly, the bed sheets seem badly washed. I really felt ripped off. I do not recommend it. never use your card here otherwise they will charge you charges that you have not authorized up to 3 times the amount you paid and more.

spare yourself some grief and stay somewhere else. i booked this hotel for 8 days because the insulation and roof is getting redone at my house and all of the other hotels were booked up since UF student families are in town. i called them the day prior to check in to let them know i'm disabled and needed a room on the ground and that i needed to check in first thing in the morning at 7am instead of 4pm and i was told it was fine, they would have a room on the ground for me and i could check in early! at 7am i went to check in, and they told me they had no rooms!! i watched a guy check out and asked if we could wait. they told us housekeeping doesn't get there until 10am. i can't drive and taking an uber only 15 minutes away would have cost me over 30 dollars, so i was sitting in my husband's car parked outside of his job with my two dogs from 8am until my husband got off work because he HAD to work at 8, luckily my boss was a little more lenient. the room wasn't ready for us until noon but at that point he couldn't leave work to drop me and the dogs off. once we got there, the room itself was dirty and i could hear every single sound because there is no kind of noise cancellation and the walls are thin. my feet were black and i was walking on the floor for less than 5 minutes. lots of random holes in the caulking in the bathroom, the AC was gurgling. and i needed good wifi to be able to work but their speeds were ranging from 0.33mbps to 2.6mbps, i couldn't even load a webpage. i have verizon service and only had 1 bar in this area so i couldn't make work calls either. in total i was in this room for less than an hour, because i NEEDED to be somewhere i could do my job and make business calls. i got charged over 200 dollars to cancel my stay, and the day after i checked out they charged my card for all 8 days on a card they shouldn't have even had on file, and gave me and my whole family garbage about getting our money back. and STILL will not refund the 200+ dollars from being in that room for less than an hour. so BEWARE they will basically steal from you. avoid this place!!!!

edit: it is now 5 days later, they actually have not refunded me about 890 dollars. they charged me for the whole 8 days we booked. even though i was in the room for slightly less than an hour. i read the cancellation policy and i was only supposed to be charged 128 dollars plus the pet fee. which would have been fine. but they charged my mom about 300 dollars and charged me 890? absolutely insane! we can't pay our bills or eat because this money was supposed to come off of my mother's card and not mine. as for the response from Leslie McMahan, this is not about "not meeting my expectations for third party booking" - you have NO right to even take that money from me if you already took the cancellation money from my mother. according to booking you should never have even asked for us to have a card on file because THEY send you a temporary card number. you are a con artist. have a...

We would turn in our sheets and blankets to be washed and half the time wouldn't get them back and we're accused of stealing them. One night we didn't get our blankets back so called the front desk the guy said we don't have any to give you. It was about 7:52 in the evening. He said it's to late you should've called earlier . My daughter said we did and we're told they were still in the dryer . 3 kids 40 degrees outside so I then called, got the same run around he also stated to me "you and your kids are not going to freeze to death". I then stated i want to speak to a supervisor he said I've already spoke with her and that was that. I said you and your supervisor refuse to go get blankets for my room or my kids. He said we don't have any left, you have plenty empty rooms can't you can grab a couple for us. He said "NO" He said apparently you don't understand what I'm saying to you and frankly I'm tired of saying things over and over to you. You must not understand English and don't call here again. This was about 10 days ago. Today we were thrown out because my dog chewed up a/c cord. Then accused me of stealing sheets and blankets. They also said that they were charging me for the last night because I wouldn't be out by 3:00 pm when they called at 2:59. So we couldnt get another room because they used our fema money for that night and wouldnt let us stay. The kids and I had to sleep in the car last night. It was about the most horrible and scary night for my kids and I. My kids are traumatized from the fact some guy started beating on the windows telling us to get out of the car . Thank God the doors were locked and I started the car and took off It took the kids at least 2 hours to calm down. They are 7,8,and 9 years old. I have meetings being set up as we speak with other parties I'm sure will be interested of how utterly harshly we were treated. Oh one more thing the cops surrounded that motel dang near every night at least once or twice a week. My kids had school the next day they needed to be in bed by 9 pm. With all the lights and sirens made it darn near impossible for that to happen and it to scared the crap out of my kids. One of the guest that was downstairs from me used to keep her door open with loud music playing. housekeeping ,staff and Leslie ,the manager , would walk by , stop in to say hey heres where the party's at smoke weed and drink alcohol and buy drugs so blatantly out in the open. It was incredible, you could tell it's been going on for awhile because they were not trying to...

UPDATE: 8/26/18 - STAY AWAY!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! THIS IS THE ONLY BUSINESS I'VE GIVEN A 1-STAR RATING TO!!!!! Our family gave this place a second chance and made reservations online (again a week in advance) for three rooms located together at poolside. When calling to confirm our reservations were received, "Bruce" insisted we cancel our reservations so he could instead make the reservations for us and give a discount for the inconvenience we experienced during our first stay with them approx. a month ago. Sounded like they were trying to make things better. Upon check-in on 8/23/18 we were told there were no reservations in their system for us at that time. We advised the kind girl at the front desk that the reservations were made by Bruce and when she called him to confirm, we overheard him tell the girl on the phone to not let us lie to her!! How insulting!! Upon further investigation the girl found Bruce had actually booked our rooms incorrectly - a month ahead of whene we had requested. Needless to say, AGAIN our rooms were not together...as we had requested. Carpets in the rooms we stayed in were filthy, cigerette burns in the bed sheets, running toilets, roaches in one of the rooms and the continental breakfast is a complete joke. Twice we gave this place a chance and twice we've been extremely disappointed. BEING INSULTED BY HEARING AN EMPLOYEE TELL ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WE WERE LIARS IS THE FINAL STRAW!! Next time we visit this area we will be sure to book with another hotel who will be honest with us and appreciate our business! To start, we made reservations to stay here a week in advance for our family vacation. We requested three rooms next to each other and that two of them needed to be adjoining. At the time of reservations we were told this wouldn't be a problem, however, upon check-in we were told no adjoining rooms were available. Apparently all adjoining rooms were filled the night before and so our requests during reservations were ignored. Bed comforters had stains on them as well as the shower curtains. There's a designated area for the continental breakfast; it's ok but the scrambled eggs are lousy, so you're better off making waffles from the waffle makers provided. Staff was friendly for...
