Update: I stayed here again twice in the summer of 2023, with my kids this time, once on our way to Whitehorse and again on our way back to Anchorage. It was just as perfect this time around! It is so nice to have a halfway point to stop for the night - the drive between Anchorage and Whitehorse is long and the road on the Canadian side is horrific, so being able to stop overnight in a comfortable, affordable, safe spot is really great. You can find them on Airbnb as well and that makes reserving in advance super convenient! Thanks again, Chris!

I stayed here in one of the camping trailers in August 2019 on my way back to Whitehorse from Anchorage. It was a lovely place to stay for the night! The trailer was beautiful and clean and had all of the essentials (dishes, towels, bedding, etc.). The campground is treed, quiet and very convenient being right on the Alaska Highway and close to gas stations, restaurants, and convenience stores. I will stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to make the drive a second time! Thank you Alaskan...

We rolled into town at 2am with a cat, two exhausted adults. . . And no room reservations made. After driving/calling around, we found this gem of campsite. Best part? It’s a self-service system, which means 24hr “check in” opportunity. They have a wide array of site options, from RV pull throughs with full hookups, to nice and clear campsites to pitch a tent.

We stayed in one of the “cabins” on site, AKA a lovely little RV parked right up front and complete with deck/awning. Though we only stayed one night, we could have happily stuck around for days. (The cat found a cozy closet to curl up in and was happy as a clam).

The campground has showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and a lovely outdoor communal kitchen space. From what we could see, every site has a grill if you want to cook! Truly blown away by what a lovely and inviting place it...

We stayed at one of the “remote” tent sites for one night. We chose one of the remote ones as the campground was pretty full with other tents and trailers and we liked being away from others- but it was still close to the facilities. The showers/restrooms were quite clean, especially as far as campground facilities go! There were many cute, personal touches and it was clear that the owners take pride in their business. The only downside was that to pay with a credit card we had to call a phone number, since no one answered we paid with the cash we had which meant we didn’t get change. But I suppose the ability to even pay with a card at a self-serve camp site is a bonus in itself. This was definitely the best tent camping I’ve had and the hot shower and running water makes the $18 completely worth...

We stopped at this campground on our way into Alaska and we stopped again on our way out! Self serve campground we was able to get in both times such a cute little area easy to get into, the lots were big enough too we have a 20 foot trailer and my brother has a 32 foot trailer, had power and electric had a dump tank water, laundry, beautiful bathrooms and they are stocked. They had shampoos body wash and deodorant and toothpaste and toothbrushes and razors. Nice clean area highly recommend them to anyone and we have been recommending them along our trip. Have a little kitchenette out front. They have a coffee pot there sink you can do your dishes in. They have a little refrigerator with waters and pops in it for donation just super cute and friendly!

This is the only RV park "open" between Whitehorse and Alaska during the off-season. It's electric only during winter. Bathrooms and laundry building locked. I was going to stay but it's self-service and I couldn't figure out how to pay and it was kind of strange alone so I left. Giving it 3 stars though for at least offering electric hookups during winter.
