This campground (CG) is a conveniently located CG right off the highway as you enter town, and it served as a great first stop for us after crossing into Alaska. We reserved 30 AMP water/electric sites for a four-night stay along with our travel partners. At check-in, we asked about full hookup (FHU) availability and were told that 50 AMP FHU sites were open. Our travel partners chose to upgrade, but we stayed with our original site as the FHU sites were a bit shorter and more closely spaced. A standout amenity is the free RV wash offered to guests staying at least two nights—we used it right away and appreciated the two pressure wash stations with buckets and soft brushes (soap not included). Our site, #87, was an end cap near the RV wash and glamping tents, and with the utility connections located near the center of the pad, we were able to easily position our 40’ fifth wheel to drop the rear patio and park our F-450 comfortably. Weather was mild during our visit, so 30 AMP service was sufficient, and water pressure held steady at around 40 PSI. Cellular service was mixed, with 1 bar LTE on Verizon and 3 bars LTE on T-Mobile, while our Starlink worked great despite the many trees, pulling in 153 Mbps download and 5.78 upload speeds. The CG offers cable TV, though we didn’t use it, and free Wi-Fi with an optional upgraded plan, though we were unable to connect and didn’t pursue it since Starlink met our needs. The CG has two clean laundry rooms—one at the office/gift shop and another at the shower house. When we chose to leave a day early, the friendly staff easily applied a credit toward our return trip back through Tok. Overall, Tok RV Village was a well-maintained, amenity-rich CG that worked well for our group, and...

Showers were clean and there were trash cans located throughout the Park. We did not use the Park wifi as we had our own Starling. Well stocked store and Alaskan Three Bears Grocery is directly across the street. They have a car wash - you pay at the office and they charge you by your rig size. Worked well enough that we had a fairly clean TT until just before the US/Canadian Border. Laundry was available but we didn't use it. Did get our first look at the Northern Lights. 2019 -Location is great but not worth staying more than one night - nothing to see or do in Tok. The restrooms/showers are nice and were always clean. The park is clean and our gravel site was level. From what we could see, each site had trees. The sites are a bit close - we stayed two nights and the second night they put a large RV next to us (plenty of empty sites) and their sewer connection was right at our picnic table. No place to move the table so we moved inside. The RV wash is nice; to wash our jeep and 15' trailer was $16, and the gift shop has a good selection of trinkets. You also get a discount if you fuel up across the street. Full site offers water, electricity, sewer, cable TV and wifi. Our first night the wifi was good and the park was pretty full. Next day starting at 0800 we couldn't access the internet. Mentioned it to the front office and they said no issue - their card reader was working perfectly. We had to do online work around 1700 and still no access so we reverted to using our phone as a hotspot. This is the reason we're giving...
Read moreThis is the best campground I’ve stayed in after being on the road for 4 weeks. The place is immaculate. They have free WiFi, laundry, showers, car wash, electric hookups etc. The water from the showers are delightfully hot and soothing after a long drive. Bathrooms are spotless and they even have hair dryers😳😳I can’t speak for the RV and cabins because I pitched a tent but if the campsites are anything to go by, then they’re excellent. The thing that blew me away and that I haven’t seen at any campsite is that they spread sawdust on the ground to cover the rocks and pointy little things that dig into you if your camping air mattress has given up. I was blown away by this. It was like sleeping in a bed. I’ve not experienced this anywhere else along my route. I think it was very thoughtful of them. As for the staff, you couldn’t find more pleasant and polite people. I mean it. I think it’s family owned and you can tell because they work in tandem. They seem to love their jobs and genuinely care that you have the best experience. I don’t know if I’ll ever come this way again but if I do, I’m gonna try the Glam tents. If you’re anywhere near Tok, try this place, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll give...
