I stayed here before heading up Kesugi Ridge in Denali State Park on a Boy Scouts High Adventure in late June of 2017. The facilities were nice and the water was clean. The potholes didn't seem like a major problem in a car but be careful and watchful if using a trailer. Some of the water pumps were broken on the first stay but when we returned five days later they had already fixed the problem. While you stay here make sure you take some photos of the lake and the rock...

May 20, 2020. Campground is open. RV area is closed. Lots of dead Beatle killed trees down everywhere. Road is nicely paved but there's a little snow and ice still in some areas..we had no problem with a pickup and travel trailer. There's a huge pile of spruce firewood for campfires from the Beatles work. Lake is frozen still. Not much room for an RV in regular parking. Bathrooms are open. Quite a bit of snow still on the ground in the trees areas. Nobody in the...

This is part of Denali State Park, and costs...

Great Campground for pull throughs, close to the veterans memorial. Unfortunately the dump facilities as of the end of June were not open. There are lots of fly so dress accordingly and we're repellent, a nice quick hike by the lake to a 1953 built log cabin is also a great idea.
