We were pleasantly surprised when we saw how beautiful the lobby, breakfast area, and our room really was!! It was the kind of place you wish you had a few more days to stay before you had to continue on. ||First was the check in; the lobby with attached breakfast area was so pretty! Great attention to detail and quite roomy. Also attached to the lobby was a small gift shop. The lady at the front desk was very kind and also suggested a few places nearby where we could have supper. ||The property was very clean and everything appeared fairly new. There were different sized buildings with rooms in them on different locations on the property, including small cabins. We learned some rooms were for guests staying for a short time, but others were for extended stays for road workers and such. Don’t let the extended stay part sway you from staying there! It definitely did not have bad characters hanging around, |it was very quiet!||Our room was a great surprise, as we were expecting a plain average looking motel room. Nope! It was shaped like a Quanset hut in on the inside with wood on the walls and ceiling. The room and bathroom were very roomy and clean; and little kitchenette was in the room. It was a hot day, but our room had air conditioning, so it was perfect. The beds were so comfortable!!! ||It was just a great place! Oh, the breakfast the next morning was a very nice and tasty continental breakfast with some hot foods, juices,...
Read moreThe rooms were very quiet which was nice. The breakfasts were good, I especially enjoyed the blueberry oatmeal bake. I also like that they had yummy baked goods that guests were encouraged to take with them for a snack for later if they didn't eat their portion at breakfast! I'm not super hungry when I first wake up so it was nice to be able to bring a muffin with me for later. The little cabins are cute and quaint.
The biggest downside for me was that the air system in the room had a glaring light that isn't able to be turned off; my first night here I woke up at 4 am and unfortunately my brain thought it was morning because the light was so bright and then I couldn't fall back asleep after that. The second night I covered it with a hand towel which helped but still was quite bright.
I also will warn that when I arrived Fox News was blasting from the TV in the lobby. Luckily the TV was off during breakfast in the mornings but just something to keep in mind if you're looking for a peaceful getaway and aren't relaxed by...
Read moreDelta Accomodations was a welcomed surprise after a 12 hour fly/drive travel day for myself and my beautiful wife. Check-in was easy with a very kind lady that had just finished baking cookies on display in lobby. Our small basic room was warm on arrival, comfortable, clean, and perfect for our one night stay. We had a beer and dinner across the street which was convenient. Hot breakfast options are excellent, no need to go anywhere else and the Rhubarb bread was delicious and only one of many other tasty pastry choices. We would not hesitate to stay again when we visit 2 of our best...
