If you're driving through Delta junction, make this grocery store a destination. Of course they are fully stocked grocery store and the prices aren't bad either considering the remote location. They also have a great back aisle of European food. Friendly courteous people to help you. It is a newly rebuilt store in 2024 at the time I'm writing this review the deli and coffee shop aren't operational yet but they're working on it and when they open they're definitely worth while stopping.

The Delta IGA has a special place in my heart. It has been a favorite place to stop when I'm in the area for over a decade. I'm so happy it has reopened! The European market section is always a favorite, so many great teas and treats! I also love the Alaska dairy and grain items, too. They used to have great specials on produce during the summer but I'm here a bit early for that this time.

Not a big fan of their produce. It is very pricey and almost always spoiled. Yes i understand prices in delta Alaska are high, but do not exaggerate. The staff is always friendly, store is clean, saves me time from going to the commissary. Convenience is a plus. I do love the small shopping carts, my son enjoys it when we go!! Thanks 3 jalapenos and two small tomatoes.

I've gone to the IGA for 20+ years and always loved it there. Until today. I stopped in the deli and drove off, snacking on mozzarella sticks and crispitos. We pulled off to feed the baby and eat our snacks too. The baby has had cheese before, so we plucked some from a mozzie sticks and shared some with her. About three minutes later she had what seemed like an allergic reaction, took her to the clinic and got her looked at. While we're there, I called and called IGA for 20 solid minutes and the phone just rang forever, nobody answered. When we were done at the clinic we went back to IGA to ask what fry oil and mozzie stick batter they used, just to narrow down the possibilities for what the baby could be allergic to, and the staff were absolutely horrific to me. Apparently since the mozzarella sticks "come in a bag," they don't have any idea what the ingredients are (???) and all THREE of the deli cashiers today were just awful to me. I explained why I was asking the questions I was, and the older male staff was rude about feeding cheese to my baby (?!?) and the older female staff was very rude asking me if the baby was okay, as if I shouldn't be asking these questions if the baby was okay. All around a big L for the IGA, they should just let Three Bears take over at this rate. It's soy oil, by the way. I didn't get to ask if they just fry everything in the same oil or what, since they were so defensive and...

It's the only place in town so I got to give it to Stars. Prices are way too high yeah it's not all in the shipping cost like they like to tell you, be careful of the parking lot for some reason they have all that money but they don't like the plow their parking lot I'm waiting for the day I fall and hit my head on theirs metal pipe stanchions! I try not to go there in the winter. The deli food taste good it's like rolling the dice sometimes you get it when it's fresh other times you get it when I'm taste like it's been there for 3 days but always I end up with a...

It's alright for a local grocery store if you're buying 1 to 3 things, but they're very expensive.

Fairbanks is a short drive away down one road and you'll save more money by driving to Walmart in fairbanks for large grocery shopping than you would here. And that's with buying gas.

Friendly people, friendly staff, just overpriced.

Hopefully when the new grocery store gets built they will lower their prices to be more reasonable. Maybe then people will actually shop there rather than just buying 1...
