Wonderful experience in a picturesque setting! I was visiting Homer last July as a base for a remote research trip and did not rent a car in Homer. Read moreI loved my stay at the Homerhome. Mike and Carol, the hosts, are amazingly kind - feels like you’re visiting old friends. I stayed in the “Alaska” room and it was very comfortable, and had a nice, detached private bathroom with a hot shower with good water pressure.
The room was nice, with lots of electrical outlets to keep your gadgets charged. Comfy beds, nice linens. Homerhome is in a quiet and safe area, about a 10 minute drive to the city. The house has really nice views of the mountains.
Mike and Carol gave me recommendations on where to go and what to see, which was greatly appreciated.

If I’m ever back in Homer one day, I’ll definitely be...
