Megan, the driver, admittedly left me at the train depot twice. She was so upset that I was upset that she tried to invalidate my feelings and make it appear as if I was arguing with her. I was NOT!

Susan was rude, gave attitude and incorrect information. She lied to me multiple times over the phone about the wait time and where my driver, Megan, was.

I was the last to leave the depot. I was there alone at night scared to death. While Susan decided to talk to me like I was an ignorant child all because she did not properly pass on the correct information. When I corrected her and mentioned that she gave me different time frames than what she did before she lied and claimed she didn't. I'm like lady, I'm all the way in Alaska and have a tour tonight that I need to be at the hotel for. Do you really think that I'm going to waste time going back and forth with you for the sake of lying on you?! When I called her back, I think maybe a fifth time, as I waited at the depot for over 30 minutes, AFTER she claimed to have given my information to the driver, she then proceeded to ask me again for my information. And I said didn't you just tell me you already had that?!! And she admitted she had the wrong information. And that once she hung up with me the lady whose information she actually gave the driver called her. She wasn't even going to call me back to clarify my information. I had to call. She acted like she was annoyed that I called all the while KNOWING she had not provided the correct information. She was arrogant and disrespectful.

To kick things off and make it even worse EMILY admitted that Susan gave the wrong information and that the driver had not been aware to come and get me. And then EMILY PROCEEDED TO HANG UP IN MY FACE AS I SAT AT THAT DEPOT IN THE COLD ALONE! SHAME ON YOU EMILY! I HOPE IN SOME WAY SOMEHOW YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME! YOU ARE DIABOLICAL DISGRACE TO HOSPITALITY!

Megan made multiple excuses saying how busy they were. Yet she came to the depot twice, picked up people and left me TWICE! To her credit she did profusely apologize, however, due to her own emotional instability she did not want to simply acknowledge my suffering and instead she tried to make it as if I was the problem for expressing my FEELINGS OF OBVIOUS NEGLECT!

She then proceeded to check me in and told me that my room keys were somehow printed upside down so I had to use them in the opposite way to get in the room. When I responded with oh wow yet another thing going wrong here she rolled her eyes and kept talking. The whole hotel is a complete sham!

THE ONLY PERSON THAT DID A GOOD JOB AT SERVICING ME WAS WINSTON AT THE FRONT DESK. HE WAS COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL, ATTENTIVE AND KIND. THE ONLY EMPLOYEE WORTH A DAMN!

I WILL NEVER STAY AT LA QUINTA AGAIN! I WILL NEVER...

We have stayed at this property multiple times in the last year and this last stay we recieved the worst service ever in our lives. Was given a room that was already dirty and and used and then recieved another room that also had a dirty bed, non working deadbolt on door and non working tv remote.

Original reservation was for 2 nights, 10/12-10/14.

We did not arrive until 10/13 and checked in around 3:50pm.

We were not notified before arriving that our room was given away and there were no other like accomodations available until we arrived.

We left on our way to our event after checking in and did not arrive back into the hotel r around 9pm and the room we were given #228, was completely dirty. Garbage in trash can, bed not made and napkins and straws on table. Front desk employee apologized and gave us another room but first made it seem like it was our fault because we did not immediately go to the room at 4pm to verify it was clean.

Our new room #128 had hair (seemed to be pet hair) on the bed. Remote inoperable and deadolt on door would not lock the door at all. (could not get clarification on if this was an issue or not as front desk employees said she was new and had no idea). We lef the premises at around 10pm after being in the room for roughly 1 hour.

Once we checked out same night we were promised that we would recieve a phone call from manager when they arrive next morning 10/14 at 8am. No phone call recieved on 10/14 or 10/15. I had to call front desk multiple times on 10/16 to resolve with manager on duty but he refused to speak with me. Last phone call with the front desk, the employee hung up on me after.

I have not recieved any check out reciept or confirmation as the hotel promised. We are also recieving unknown charges from this location when we paid for the room with airline miles. This issue as of 10/16 has not been resolved. I am looking for a full refund for our 1.5 hour stay at this location.

We have stayed at many different Laquinta locations in the past and This is my third stay at this particular hotel in the last year. Previous two occasions were great but this last stay was horrific. We ended up driving back 6 hours to Anchorage from Fairbanks and had to sleep in our car because we were highly...

I came to Fairbanks for work for a whole week. I picked this hotel because of the price and location. Just a mile or two from the airport. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed at the level of courtesy I was shown. They recognized my member status promptly (even though i just joined……shhh! Status match is the way to go btw). Throughout the week they accommodated my every request. Because I bought dinners from the grocery store, they let me keep them in their freezer and retrieve them as needed. They provided plates, plastic ware, napkins, everything I needed. I can’t say enough good things about the team members I encountered. Megan, Iris & Tim are the best. Their upbeat attitudes are the main reason I will return if I’m ever back in town. Now, the room. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked, nothing smelled funny. The bed……..I slept a full 8 hrs and almost every night and was super comfortable all night. No problems there. The TV channel selection is great. The breakfast was great in my opinion. I opted for the softest most delicious biscuits and gravy in the world, It really was delicious. In the afternoons, I would grab one or two of those chocolate chunk cookies they have up front. Tim gave me a fresh one as i checked in and i must say, i couldn’t have made them better myself. Each morning I would wake up and drink 2 cups of coffee, which was better than most I’ve tried. Downstairs, i would fill up my travel mug and drink that throughout the day to stay warm and it was good tasting coffee, not that nasty stuff that tastes awful after it starts to cool down. At one point, I asked Megan: “Are all La Quintas this cool?” She said “Probably not”. *to the best of my memory anyway. Okay, I know that is a lot to read, long story short, i had a very fantastic experience staying at this hotel for the week that i was there. Oh, the one little problem i did encounter is almost everyday, I’d have to forget the Wi-Fi network and reconnect to get YouTube to load. I haven’t had that problem in the past at other hotels so im guessing its the network or something. Anyway, yeah, I highly recommend this place. Sweet...

I called the afternoon staff from my room to ask them if they could make cookies, the heavyweight male receptionist let me know they had already made cookies. And i asked if they could make more. The heavyweight male receptionist said he couldn’t make anymore because he was busy. But when i went downstairs to take my dog out, he was sitting down and giggling with the other female receptionist. He also told me to ask the next shift that was coming in at 10pm. So thats what i did. The lady was very nice to me and she did make the cookies. I appreciate her for picking up the slack from the previous lazy shift workers. On top of that my comforter in my room was dirty. It had something red on it that looked like a smashed strawberry or some lipstick. I didn’t even bother to ask anyone for a new one because i wasn’t here for long.

Very fast and friendly airport shuttle for free. This was a nicely decorated and clean room. The bed was fine but I did not necessarily like the pillows (hard). The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The toiletries provided were of good quality. My primary complaint about the room was that it was very dark. Two desk lamps and one overhead light in the entryway, but all were dim and the overall room was extremely dark. The towels were great quality. The free breakfast was very robust with lots of hot food options such as biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, and pancakes. The hotel lobby is very stylish and has lots of comfortable seating.

‘We stayed 3 nights and four days. I request the room to be cleaned and trash be removed. I hang the cleaning request signs over the handle outside. 10 hours later, I came back from the hotel and found the sign slid under the door and the room wasn’t clean and trash still at the same place. This is outrageous. Not only the room wasn’t cleaned, the ceiling in the bathroom were leaking, which I reported to the clerk that morning before I left the room. This is terrible service.
