North Pole Cabins — Hotel in Alaska

My husband and I decided to surprise our daughter for her senior year Christmas and take her to North Pole, Alaska. Nancy, the owner of the cabin from the very beginning was extremely helpful with tips and suggestions for our stay. We had told her we were from Florida so she had a lot of helpful tips before we even got there and was readily available to answer anything. When we got there it exceeded our expectations as the cabin is a little bit back behind a lot of pine trees. It looked like something out of a picture, a winter wonderland. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped for the beds were comfortable, and having a stove and kitchenette were extremely helpful. Nancy continued to check in on us and made us feel completely at home, she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Alaska. We look forward to one day getting back...

It's a cute cabin in the woods (really half a cabin) and the owner, Nancy, went out of her way to help us out. The cabin is divided into 2 units, each has a main room, bathroom, kitchen facilities and a loft. The side we stayed in was very comfortable. The kitchen is small but functional with a full stove, mini fridge and sink and cooking utensils. The cabin sits on a small lake and wildlife abounds. Nancy went out of her way to help my daughter and I when my husband had an accident and I will be forever grateful. The loft has a queen size bed along with the one on the main floor- both were very comfortable. The loft is best for younger people who don't have a problem with ladders. It worked great for us. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, scenic place to stay with a great host - it's secluded but close to the highway and Fairbanks....
