The very tall pole, at the North Pole in Alaska is a nice tourist stop. There is a huge Christmas gift shop, and an area to pet/feed Santa’s reindeer (for $8), which is a great photo op. The people are very nice. The pole, itself is very tall and all directions from it, point “South”! There is also a huge Santa statue for photos.
