Altamont Motel — Hotel in Altamont

On our way home from across country road trip we unfortunately had a car accident. We were low on cash 8 hrs from home w 2 puppies and wouldn't have money to fix car for several days. The police officer dropped us off here. We deal t defeated until we meet the motel manager. He went out of his way to help accommodate us and even helped with the puppies. One of which he calls his own now. The room was amazingly clean. Cleaner than any other $40 night motel. We had called the motel up the road and the typical $40 night motel treatment was quickly received a man yelling demanding crazy prices in broken language with no care to listen and try to work with potential customers. With out this man the altamont would just be another cheap motel but with him This motel is much more and feels like...

The way I was treated is not okay being told we have things when we don’t

I was told we had a cable box in our room and we’ve been living there for 6-7 months we have a Roku TV which is used via internet to watch Netflix Disney Tubi and other movie and show apps

When we first moved in We have given the cable tv the cable box and the internet router back the first day we moved in cause we wouldn’t have a use for them with a SMART TV which is used to run Disney Netflix Tubi and other movie streaming apps

We were kicked out because both the land lord and me and my wife have had numerous problems one involving our family and friends with the landlord and now about this

Maybe it’s time for people to learn the true meaning of respect respect is...

I realize this is a small town it's not a part of some gigantic super chain of hotels, but these people are nice and they have nice TVs and super fast internet. They will take care of your needs, all you have to do is ask. I know is not what you expect at the big hotels but seriously what do do you expect at these rates. I have seen bigger hotels who charge more and don't even come close to what they offer. But if you need to be pampered this isn't the place for you, but if you look for good price and good internet and quiet...
