Spark by Hilton Ames — Hotel in Ames

The customer service here was truly outstanding. The attendant went above and beyond to accommodate us and immediately addressed any issues we had. Our first room had a few stink bugs and flies near the window and curtains, but the staff quickly moved us to a much better room with no hesitation. After leaving the new room, we left to eat. I realized I left something in the fridge of the 1st room. I called and they moved it to my new room fridge for me, without hesitation.

The hotel itself is currently under construction and still needs a bit of work. The toilet in our second room didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly—likely missed from the previous guest—but the rest of the room was clean.

Breakfast was minimal, but the bagels were fresh and delicious, and the coffee was decent.

Nice new look—very modern. Ed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast did not have a ton of options, but was fresh and appealing.
