Great place to spend some quality time with friends and family to reconnect, beautiful natural setting with historical lodge and modern cabin. Wonderful hosts go out of their way to provide insight on local attractions for a variety of interests. Close to NOC and the lake. We recently met up with friends staying at the lodge and spent 2 nights in the cabin on the hill overlooking the grounds, ample parking, mountain views from the large balcony porch, wildlife (turkey, eagle, you can practically hand-feed the trout in the front pond and the hummingbirds will hover a foot away from you). Close to downtown Andrews for some pizza and beer at Hoppy Trout or visit to the casino. Highly recommended for a quiet romantic getaway or family escape. You will be impressed by the charm and friendliness of the staff, and large rooms with private sitting space, as well as communal areas.

Only stayed here one night, and had the place to ourselves! I wish we could have stayed longer and now want to go back. Our host, Tim, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the place. There is so much history and antiques here that you could explore for days. The "baby" trout in the small creek-fed pond were actually very very large. The fire pit was great. Ambience was phenomenal. The Nantahala lake looks like it could be a lot of fun too. We want to go back.

The lodge suites are very spacious with unique furnishings. If you want relaxation, woods and streams, this is the location. There is a short trail on the property, a half mile I think. We took our granddaughters and they really enjoyed the walk. The girls' favorite was the fairy tree along the trail. The lodge is a special place to unwind.

Our stay at Glen Choga Lodge was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst breathtaking mountain scenery, the lodge itself is a charming and historic gem. But what truly sets it apart are the hosts, Tim, Liz and their lovely girls. From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. Tim and Liz were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable, and they went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the cozy atmosphere of the lodge made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply a peaceful retreat, Glen Choga Lodge is an absolute must-visit. The combination of stunning surroundings, exceptional hospitality, and a touch of history makes it a truly...

This place is fantastic. It starts with our hosts Tim and Liz who could not be more helpful. They love this place, and they shared it with us. The front room, the dinning area, the kitchen, the library and the upstairs den are so beautiful. The wood used in the construction was cut and milled on site from local chestnut trees. So the lodge has this natural, fresh smell to it. Our room, the Mallard Suite was comfortable, cozy and cool. Tim would have breakfast ready each morning with a great selection of food. The biscuit and gravy are to die for! Tim is a wealth of knowledge and with Liz, we would spend time talking and enjoying their company. Check out the trout pond in front and throw some fish food in and be amazed. A wonderful lodge with even more wonderful hosts in gorgeous...
